I think you made a big time typo, but that's ok actually the kid muppets like "Cookie Monster" did but the "adult" muppets like Ernie and Bert didn't kind of on the same level.

No. I meant to say "Bert." I have read on previous threads that Bert and Snuffy have interacted, at least on albums, so I used his name as an example for somebody who could have backed up Big Bird's claim that there was a Snuffleupagus.

Sorry about the confusion. I guess I should have explained that better.
