A question about Snuffy and Mr. Hooper

I know these 2 never got to meet each other due to the fact Mr. Hooper died in 1983 and Snuffy was finally introduced to all of Big Bird's friends in 1985. But does anyone remember any really good close encounters when Mr. Hooper almost met Snuffy? I always felt bad that these 2 never got to meet, but I'm sure Mr. Hooper would have been just as shocked as the rest of the SS gang. Who can tell me some good moments when these 2 came close to meeting? There's only one time I can think of and that's from an episode that was on Noggin a few years ago. It was from 1975 and Mr. Hooper is at the front of his store without his glasses on and he's saying "David, where's my glasses? David! I can't see a thing without my glasses!" and Snuffy comes up to the store window and says something like "Oh Dear..... Mr. Hooper doesn't even notice me...."
