I love this picture. My favorite.
I was born after Jim's death, but still this man was able to shape my world. From Sesame Street to Fraggle Rock to even the Muppet Show, and the movies, etc. He helped me so much.
Like Jim always said
"When I was young, my ambition was to be one of the people who made a difference in this world. My hope still is to leave the world a little bit better for my having been here."
As I look around my room now at all my Muppet stuff, I think. Mission Accomplished Jim.

--------------
I lucked across a kids' picture book a few weeks ago entitled "Who Is Jim Henson?" That pic, as well as many other candid shots with him and various Muppets, is included. Very sweet book, which concludes after showing the young readers every production Henson did back to the Street, "You already know Jim Henson!"
