Henson High Reunion

As we pulled into the parking lot of Henson High I was confused.

" Aunt Piggy? Why are we here?"

It was the reunion day. The DUMB reunion day. I always hated the stinking reunion. Aunt Piggy and Uncle Kermit parade me around like a freakin show pony and I hate it! I hate it I hate it I hate it!! At least Nialls here to keep me company.

"Now Ashley. Before we go in I have some rules." She said. Oh good god! The freaking rule book! "I want Vous to hide your southern accent like Vous do at school. No kissing Niall. And absolutely under NO circumstances do you go and kick around a football on that field. Also No talking about any thing about Vous. Got it?"

"Yea sure"

"And Niall-"

"Oh NUHUH! Aunt Piggy!! My boyfriend is 20 years old! He can do what he wants! Alright!"

"Watch it Buster!"

"Can we just go in PLEEEAASSEE!" Robin screamed. "It's like this every year!"

"Great idea kid" Niall said.

"Yeah let's go" said Kermit.

The minute we walked into Henson High we immediately got an applause and within 5 seconds Niall had girls all over him. Within 6 seconds I was karatechopping people left and right.

"Woah babe I haven't seen you do that since well ever!" Niall said.

"Part of the package!" I said completely ignoring that Aunt Piggy told me to hide the accent.

She glared at me but I didn't care. People at Henson High know me and now they know that Niall's my boyfriend. And I'd be crazy to not show that off!

I kissed him on the cheek and we followed Aunt Piggy, Uncle Kermit and Robin into the auditorium. I whispered to Niall "prepare for the parade"

Aunt Piggy made a huge deal that I was dating 1/5 of the biggest boy band in the country. She said "Look at my niece everyone! She's southern and she's dating Niall Horan!"

After everyone marveled over me and my boyfriend for 20 minutes Uncle Kermit's friend Poland Polanski told everyone to sit down. We sat in the back because little did Aunt Piggy know we would sneak out in the middle of the presentation. Of course we' d get back in enough time to make our performance. Once the presentation started the principal went up to speak. Um, BORING! I whispered to Niall.

"Hey babe. you wanna blow this and go kick the ball around a bit?"

"Oh heck yeah love. I'm bored!"

"Follow me! I know every inch of this place."

Me and Niall slowly snuck out to the football field of HHS . I went and unlocked the door of the ball shed and grabbed the one Kermit signed. I kicked the ball the whole hundred yards and through the goal post.

"WHOO GO ASH!!" Yelled Niall.

"Shhh! Aunt Piggy's got ears like a stinkin hawk! She'll hear you!"

"Um, think she already did hon."
I turned around and saw Aunt Piggy, Kermit,Robin, and Oh no, My muppeteer, Bill Baretta standing there.

"What in the heck are Vous doing?"

"The heck's it look like Aunt Piggy I'm kickin a ball."

"Vous are grounded. You can't ground me if you can't catch me!" I grabbed Niall and ran like the wind to the bus.

"Jan! Start up the bus!" I yelled

"Like okay. But I need to finish tuning up my harp."

"Jan. the harp can wait."

"Ok like I guess your right."

Janice started the bus and we drove away. Long story short. Someone didn't get grounded.

Losing your Muppeteer


On December 7th,2013 O was pretty busy. I was rehearsing my Christmas number with Finn,Niall,Rachel,Kurt,Leah,Lani,and all the band. We were singing Rudolph the Rednosed reindeer. It came time for my solo that Kurt graciously gave me as a Christmas present. I managed to get out "then all the reindeer loved him" before my hands flew to my throat.

"Babe what's wrong?" Niall asked.

I tried to reply but nothing would come out. Janice,Floyd,Dr. Teeth, Lani, and Leah all looked pretty worried. I knew EXACTLY what the where think about. I thought about my Muppeteer Gemma Bardoff. I grabbed a pad of paper and a marker. I wrote " Lani? Will you call Steve and see if Gemma's ok?" She nodded and pulled out her phone "Hey Steve! Yeah it's Lani. Ash can't talk she was wondering if everything's ok with Gemma. Ohh. Really? Ok I'll tell her. Bye." "What Happened?" I wrote on the paper. "Ash I'm so sorry. She died in a car accident." I started to cry. The cries turned to silent sobs. My muppeteer, my best friend, was gone.


THE NEXT DAY



People had freaking freaked overnight. Considering the Christmas Special was 3 days away and I was hosting because Kermit was off promoting Muppet Most Wanted. They had the worst time trying to find me a new performer. We held auditions. No one was able to match my voice. Since I'm so little and it was so high pitched. Finally Dr. Teeth's performer Bill Baretta walked in. He sang Story of my Life IDENTICAL to how I always sang it. Bill took me into a room and ten minutes later I tiptoed out of the room and covered my best friends eyes with my hands. "Guess who?" I said. "ASHLEY!!!" She screamed. I was back. Thanks to Bill. I was back.
