On this day 40 years ago, November 18, 1985, two big things regarding imaginary friends happened: "Sesame Street"'s 17th season premiered with the adults seeing once and for all Big Bird's friend Mr. Snuffleupagus does indeed exist, and Bill Watterson's "Calvin and Hobbes" comic strip debuted in 35 newspapers! Zak Wolf gives a retrospective on both of these on this milestone...
