Unfortunately, as documentaries on Mister Rogers have pointed out, he did have his share of haters . . . mostly far-right cable news personalities who basically accused him of being an enabler who tried to brainwash children into becoming freeloaders because they didn't have to actually do anything in life to achieve form of well-earned success because they'll believe they're special even for doing nothing.
