I'm not sure how Marianne even got on stage to be quite honest. Too bad SNL isn't in season. They would have a field day with her performance.

Mayor Pete and Harris were definitely the winners and stars of the night. Bernie is, well, Bernie. More and more he just comes across as an angry old man. I thought he started showing his age a bit. With all the young talent on stage in the two nights I think it's going to be very hard for an angry old guy. Biden didn't have a good night and stumbled around quite a bit. He's hitched his wagon to President Obama and what his administration did. That only goes so far and voters give credit to President Obama for it's accomplishments and not Biden. Here's Yang's campaign summed up: Free tuition, free healthcare, everybody gets $1000 a month. FREE FREE FREE.

I though it was interesting when they were asked if they supported free healthcare for illegal immigrants. They all raised their hands. That has to **** off many Americans who are paying for their healthcare or are struggling with their high premiums. People like D'Snowth. That's not goingto be a winning position.

Overall I don't care for this format. Too many candidates on stage which doesn't allow enough time for in-depth answers. As a result, they all seem to be shooting for that great soundbite as opposed to a good answer.
I totally agree with MuppetsRule 100 %

My friend who's a democrat is a very big fan of Pete Buttigieg and Bill De Blasio. As a Republican the only democrat I admire to some degree is Pete Buttigieg. I also like John Delaney and John Hickenlooper as well, mostly because they are the only democrats who decry how far left and socialist the party has gone.

And yet Tulsi has gotten more coverage from conservatives than she has from progressives.

https://nypost.com/2019/07/18/mayor...but-de-blasio-sticks-nyc-taxpayers-with-bill/ No surprise. Mayor Bill de blasio is a terrible mayor and should immediately drop pout of the race. I'm really starting to really admire how normal and nice Mayor Pete is. I do not agree with his policies but he seems very genuine.
Dumb Blasio is the worst mayor we had since Lindsay, and that's going back 50 years.
In my lifetime I got to see a number of good mayors, some you might've heard of: Ed Koch (had a bit part in the Muppet Movie) David Dinkins (New York's first black mayor) Rudy Giuliani ( just got into office when 9/11 happened), and Bill Bloomberg who was as short as DeBlasio was tall.

No, he did some good stuff. Lowered crime, lowered taxes, cleaned the place up a little. He got a lot of friction being a Republican in an overwhelming Democrat city, but he still got things done. A little unhinged at times, butstill managed a few good things.

After watching the debate I really admire Andrew Yang. He seems like a really great guy. My friend who's a democrat loves Yang, Mayor Pete, and Tulsi. I really like Tulsi. I honestly think shes more of a conservative democrat or a liberal republican than a progressive democrat.
