Hard to say - certainly not a biggie but not super-duper obscure either. Only appeared once, but seemed to be a "fan favorite" - i'd say most fans would immediately know the answer when it's revealed as opposed to thinking "Who?"

Oh, i don't know about that - there's quite a few other places a character might come from besides Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, or the Muppet Show...(just look at the last puzzle for example...)

Well, pretty much most of the core Muppets from The Muppet Show were there on The Jim Henson Hour in the "MuppetTelevision" segments- but they definitely added a number of new ones too. It can be fairly tricky to come by- but I do believe some episodes are on Youtube. And certain members on the forum might be willing and able to hook you up with episodes in the Trading forum, if you're interested.
