I think i may know who it is, at least i have a Muppet in mind that fits all the clues and it almost works with the letters you provided - but i'm still ending up with an extra g and h in your puzzle. (I'm going by the Muppet Wiki spelling) You may want to double check the puzzle and say if it is indeed right (and it's someone different than who i'm thinking) or fix it up.
