I looked through Muppet Wiki, for any 4 word muppet, I can't find this. I'll wait on the sidelines for the next clue or puzzle. :batty:

Well, if it helps, by "Four words", i mean that there are three spaces within the character's name. Take my last name for example - it's McKim and even though i spell it together as one word other people with that or a similar name may divide it into two words as in "Mc Kim".

He's on the Wiki. And the way his name is spelled there, it's divided into four words - or three spaces within his name.

This is a challenging one, but it's not impossible - you have some good clues - maybe you may need to visit the Wiki for help spelling the name so you can properly unscramble it but what Muppet from a 90's Henson show makes a cameo in Muppet Treasure Island, fights with Long John's crew, and there's a reason why it could be up for debate as to whether he comes from Jim Henson Hour or not? What might be a reason why fans could debate if a Muppet from a later production was actually in an earlier one or not?

If i was stumped and wanted to find this out, i might either work more on trying to figure out the 90s Henson show he comes from and/or watching Muppet Treasure Island real closely and taking note of all the Muppets who fight on Long John's side. I know SOMEONE can figure it out!

[I looked there, Muppets Tonight, The Jim Henson Hour, and all through Muppet Characters in Wiki...I even looked at the movie(Treasure Island) on YouTube...I'm blank.]

Does the name have the word "the" in it?

To recap:
  • 4 Words
  • Not From: The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Muppets Tonight, Sam and Friends, The Jim Henson Hour
From dwmckim:

- Was not in Muppets Tonight but does come from a Henson show.

-I wouldn't really say _from_ a Muppet movie - but did have a cameo in one of them.

-Was the character from Jim Henson Hour? Well, some people may answer that differently since it is possibly up for interpretation, but personally i would say "no".

- Yes, from the 90s.

-Yes, made a cameo in Muppet Treasure Island.

-When you do see him in MTI, he is on Team Long John.

-Well some might be willing to call all of Long John's team "monsters" (Tim Curry included) - but species-wise, no - definately not a monster.

-Listed in Muppet Wiki

Sorry Unclematt, the wiki's marvelous but not infallible. His cameo's so brief that the editors have (so far) forgotten to include him among the list of Muppets that appear in the film. Normally i'd say instead of taking the easy way out and looking at wiki, why not pop some popcorn and watch the film itself?

But - instead it looks like JaniceFerSure got it!

For those still confused - the 90s Henson show he comes from is The Animal Show. The puppet itself debuted as Jacques Roach in Jim Henson Hour. However even though the puppet/character was pretty much unchanged between JHH and Animal Show, he was renamed - and since it is the NAME we're after here, you can see why some might say "Yves St La Roache" was not in JHH and others might say he was. Your typical example of a puppet being recycled into a different character or name! By the time MTI was made in 1996, Yves had been more recent and more used than he was when he was called Jacques, so i would say that was his name at that point.

One more thing that makes this a little tricky and easy to miss when you're watching MTI looking for his cameo is that you don't see him on the ship with the rest of the pirates - he just randomly pops up during the big fight scene at the climax squaring off against Gonzo.

You're next Janice!
