This may be from years ago, but I thought I'd bring it up here. I really don't know what to say about this...




...except, "What the frog?" I doubt that this thing's even legit - the walk-arounds look so cheap, it surprises me that they didn't use the regular VEE costumes. Not to mention the live-actors come off as waaaaay too over the top here.

And you thought "A Special Sesame Street Christmas" was bad!

These live shows have been going on for a while, but the scariest thing I just learned is that they are indeed legit (as in, official) :eek:

Here's proof:

Besides the cheap-looking Elmo, Cookie, Ernie, Bert, and Abby, they also had a cheap-looking Grover, but I only saw him in one photo from a different show at a different location (and in that same photo, Ernie and Bert were wearing the wrong shirts). Makes me wonder if they ever had cheap versions of other characters like Oscar or Big Bird.
