Actually, I've seen it once in Indianapolis and will be seeing it in Bloomington, Indiana this year... I would love to see it in NYC though... maybe if it's still playing when I move there in 3 years

if you're into movie musicals you may be interested in knowing that Stephen Sondheim's Sweeny Todd will be coming out next year also... it's being directed by Tim Burton and will star Johnny Depp as the title character.

Also, Dreamgirls will be opening in December... its good to see movie musicals coming back...

(in case you couldnt tell, I have a passion for theatre as much as I do the Muppets)

That's great... what are your favorite shows? Which ones have you seen?

I love Wicked, Avenue Q, Hairspray (of course!), Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and I want to see the Little Mermaid which is currently in the works in London!

Actually, the Little Mermaid is in the works to premier in Denver in 2007... after that it will move to broadway. Another show that is going to premiering in November that I'm looking forward to is Spring Awakening.

I am seeing Wicked in chicago on saturday. Some of my current fave cast recordings are The Last 5 Years, Jersey Boys, Sweeney Todd (Revival cast), Sunday in the Park With George (original cast with Bernadette Peters and Mandy Patinkin), and Les Miserables (which I saw back in July).

I'm looking forward to wicked... even if it is a bit overrated

Anybody else broadway fans???
