I'm one of those rare creatures that have been on for that length - one of the originals/veterans.

As for "dreams coming true", unfortunately ever since that bad time in 2002 when i lost my job and my home and about the same time (both for being gay), my life has been a mostly downward spiral since, and i don't even know how i managed to make it this far without doing myself in. I guess mainly because when all else has been a living nightmare, the hope of new Muppet stuff (or rediscovered old stuff) keeps me going. I really thought that 2008 was really going to be the year things started turning around but ended up being the worst year of my life so far (and that's REALLY saying a lot)...but 2009's another year (and hopefully a whole new era for America...with an administration that isn't so hostile towards wiping out the middle/lower classes...and yeah - i'm thisclose to being one of those wiped out so hopefully things do indeed change)

Hey Cory! Remember me? We were email pals a few years back for awhile!

Congratulations on being here 10 years, that is fantastic! You've always been a solid forum contributor, and someone who isn't afraid to voice your opinion around here and I know I've always appreciated that!

Sorry Im ages late replying to this thread, but let me tell ya something DW:

You helped make my Muppetfest a really wonderful experience.
Youre unabashed sentiments, intimate knowledge, hospitality and downright fun made my trip to Muppetfest in Santa Monica
all the worthwhile.

It sickens and saddens me know end that discrimination towards you has wrought you so much grief and problems. Closest I can relate is being made fun of all through grade/jr/high school for being asian.

Im sorry youre 2008 wasnt what you had hoped, but darnit we ALL deserve gloriousness and to grab 2009 by the reins and make it what *we* want.

And yes, the economic situation does appear to be getting even more grim. My state of California used to one of the best economic states in the Union, now it's just coming apart at the seems.

Anyways, wanted to say youve touched us; and even in your most darkest moments your beautiful spirit always shined through. Ive been down in the dumps pretty bad too, but am glad to say the least to be in the here and now.
