Good way of putting it, Martin! And yes, I noticed that too, furryred.
In fact, it made me remember a thread someone started once about what is your most successful thread. I remember at the time observing how most of my threads got few replies. Well I checked a little bit ago at the member's list for my all time threads. I have started 48 new threads since I've been here and only 2 have received more than 30 replies (and one of them was a Happy Birthday thread) and more than half have received less than 10 replies. So I strike out when it comes to creating threads. But I am gratified that I have always gotten a lot of replies to individual POSTS I make in already existing threads.
And anyway, I guess now the original topic of this thread is being muffined!
Wow! Muffins and ziffels in a ziffeled thread! (Wonder if a THREAD can also be muffined or not? Naw, I don't see how!)

Hey there Nickmeister!

Haha, I just found the old thread called, "Threads with a lot of posts".
Here's what I said back in September:

"All 37 of my threads flop. The most posts a thread of mine has is "NFL 2005" with 32. And I made 16 of those posts! But, since the NFL season just started last week, I'm sure it won't be long before this thread goes over 50, 75, 100, etc. At last I will have a successul thread! KEE KEE KEE!"

Interestingly, the NFL thread DID reach 100 posts exactly. So that by far is my most successful thread. But then again, I made 45 of those 100 posts! :stick_out_tongue:

True, but 01,02,03,04,05,06 (which is especially neat) won't happen again for another century.
I do recall living through 8/8/88 and 9/9/99 and hearing about it on the news back then. Those were kind of neat too. Don't think I heard about 7/7/77 at the time, though. Must be neat too for those people born on those dates. And makes their birthday easy to remember for their family and friends!

Well actually, 01,02,03,04,05,06 will not only happen at 1:02:03 am , but 12 hours later again at 1:02:03 PM! And THEN, should not be for a hundred years. Hey! That means I WILL be AWAKE for that while at work tomorrow afternoon! And here I was talking about having to set my alarm for one o'clock in the morning if I wanted to be awake through this point!

Ohhhh but 1:02:03 PM is really 13:02:03, not 01:02:03, because it's the 13th hour of the day, whereas 1am is the first hour. Oh well, technically it is 2006, not 06 (the sixth year) so......
Oh heck! It's just a neat little peculiarity!

Hey buds,
I was just daydreaming in math class when I thought of this: On June 6th, 2006, the date will read:
6/06/06 !!!
And, if you want to go furthur...
at 6:06:06 on June 6th it will read:

6:06:06 on 6/06/06!!! Oh no! The Apocalypse! lol

Yeah I heard the release date of the remake of the 1976 movie, "The Omen", is 6/6/06. But it's probably yet another unnecessary remake. The 1976 movie was a classic and 30 years ago is hardly outdated!
And some might think the 6/6/06 date has apocalyptic significance but we already had many 6/6/6's (in 1906, 1806, 1706, etc.) And I remember hearing 1998 could be a significant year because 666 goes into it 3 times exactly. But it also went into 1332 twice. Numerology can be interesting but probably has little or no meaning as far as actual events occurring.
And by the way, wasn't yesterday the 1,2,3,4,5,6 day for Australians (May 4th instead of April 5th in the USA)?
