    Dealing with depression and anxiety

I am sorry to hear about that, especially I am aware you have discussed what has been happening with your depression a lot in recent years. I am not going to pretend that I know exactly what you are going through, but I do know how it feels to be bitter, depressed, and to have a desire for...

Muppet Guys (And Gals) Talking: The Muppet Family Interviews Thread

I did recently watch this nice interview Caroline Bernier-Dionne did with Pam Arciero. I do think is Pam Arciero is an excellent performer and director, and I have always enjoyed the work and performances she has done over the years, including as Grundgetta, Leona Lion, and several other...

    Little things we've noticed

I have noticed that after the 1970s, there were only three occasions where Frank Oz returned to perform in street stories on Sesame Street, and all of them were done as Cookie Monster. Those times happened in episode 2835 (also known as Big Bird's Birthday or Let Me Eat Cake), episode 3804...

    What made you think today?

I did recently find and watch this interview Alexis Joy did with Carolyn Lawrence, who is best known for voicing Sandy Cheeks in SpongeBob SquarePants, and Cindy Vortex in The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. I did particularly enjoy watching this interview, as you can really see how...

    I won't be posting anymore...

As some of you already know, I have been on this website less and less during the past month and a half, especially as I had some personal matters that I had to deal with. I did even contemplate the idea of maybe leaving this website completely again, but I decided I will continue to...

    Sesame Street Seasons 30-34

While episode 3999 of Sesame Street is not available in its full length, I did recently find clips of the street story that were posted. It was nice to see this episode again for the first time in many years, as especially as you get to see Maria, Ernie, Zoe, and the Amazing Mumford all...

The new What Made You Smile Today thread

It was definitely nice and sweet to see Tom Kenny meet a girl named Olivia at the American Dream Mall, given how he and Jill Talley were apparently there for an event just some days ago. I live in New Jersey, so it is a shame I was too busy to be able to be there to meet anyone, but it was still...

    Rebusquest

@Xerus I did take a look at some of these RebusQuest stories, and they were interesting and enjoyable to read. Thank you for sharing them on this forum.

Miss Piggy's 50 Year Career on CBS Saturday Morning aired on May 25, 2024

I am surprised no one has posted a thread about this yet, but a few month ago, CBS Saturday Morning did a segment reflecting on the career of Miss Piggy after 50 years. In addition to Miss Piggy, there are even interviews with Bonnie Erickson and Eric Jacobson during this video.

Your Thoughts: The Street We Live On

To be honest, I did enjoy watching The Street We Live On special when it aired many years ago. Nearly all of the major characters in the show still showed up for some sort of appearance during the special, and I did enjoy seeing everyone sing "The Street I Live On" song at the end. I honestly...

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

When it comes to Thomas & Friends, I did watch episodes of the HIT Entertainment era (both live action and CGI ones) on PBS over the years, and some of the early episodes on DVD compilations, and airings on PBS Kids Sprout. And yes, I have always been annoyed with the attitude of the fandom of...

    The "You know what?" thread

Yes, to be completely honest, I do consider Jessica DiCicco to be one of my favorite voice actresses, and I really enjoy the work that she does in television shows and movies.

Muppets Have not really been good since Jim Henson passed.

Honestly, as I said before, while Jim Henson was very influential in allowing the Muppets to be what they became at the time, I do feel he definitely does get too much credit, especially when it comes to Sesame Street. After all, there were some projects that still were fine for me in later...

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

During a few months ago, there was a clip posted of the pledge break from the pledge drive version of episode 2835, also known as Big Bird's Birthday or Let Me Eat Cake.

Sesame went down hill when Elmo came on the scene

Yes, I have also been typically more accepting of changes that happened over the years, as there still things to enjoy in Sesame Street. For example, while the block format from Season 40 to Season 45 did have some problems, especially with repetition, there were still several street stories and...

    Favorite Isabella Moments

I did particularly enjoy the determination and courage that Isabella showed in the "Night of the Living Pharmacists" special in Phineas & Ferb, in order to save the day, and even was able to tell Phineas about her feelings for him, though that seems to have been forgotten by both of them as a...

People complaining about Matt Vogel replacing Steve Whitmire as Kermit the Frog

With all due respect to Matt Vogel, while I am not going to waste time bashing his performance as Kermit, I also cannot bring myself to accept it either. I do wish that Steve Whitmire was still working with the Muppets and Sesame Street, but it is what it is at this point, and at least he has...

    PBS Kids was influential

I did have the opportunity to enjoy watching many different shows on PBS over the years, including Sesame Street, Thomas & Friends, Caillou, Dragon Tales, and the 2009 version of The Electric Company.

Why did the Dragon Tales episode "Goodbye Little Caterpoozle" differ from other kiddie show episodes about the death of a pet?

I think that the episode "Goodbye Little Caterpoozle" of Dragon Tales was trying to show lessons related to the compassion and care shown from the characters, changes in life, and being careful not to jump to conclusions. I honestly do not know what else to say about this episode beyond that.

Why did the Dragon Tales episode "Goodbye Little Caterpoozle" differ from other kiddie show episodes about the death of a pet?

As someone who used to watch Dragon Tales many years ago, I think that you are looking too deeply into what that episode was trying to do. The people working on this show probably felt that this approach was best for what they were going for in this episode. I would advise you not to overthink...
