I haven't seen the video in question, but at least in the U.S., when a teacher in particular goes by their first name at school instead of their last, they're addressed as Miss, especially by younger kids.

So I avoided Twitter almost entirely for about a year, but now I'm back. I still prefer Mastodon, but I'm pretty active on both. I'm also on Facebook because a lot of people I know are on it, but I still don't like it much.
