Yeah and they are some classic commercials. But it's not selling out when you haven't even made it yet, kwim? You don't see Disney using Mickey Mouse or Goofy to promote sneakers or shampoo. I get that they are trying to increase exposure but is that really the way?
Hey there. I believe that Mahna Mahna has appeared in some form on Sam & Friends, Muppet Show, Muppets Tonight and may have been on Sesame Street once as I beleive I saw it listed on a SS album. But I'm not sure about the last one. I bought my daughter "Music, Mayhem and More" for Christmas...
Mokey ~ Thank you everybody for the wonderful Valentines' goodies.
Mup *through a mouthful of said goodies* Mmmm-hmmm, ank-ew.
Mokey ~ Red!!! It's so great to see you! I have been having the best time! Class is hard but fun and some of these Silly Creatures are really smart. What...
mupitz: Wow Mokey, those were an intense first four weeks of class. I didn't realize college was going to be so hard.
Mokey: It was pretty difficult, but if it were easy it wouldn't be worth doing because the reward would feel less earned.
mupitz: So true, so true. *mup bites into a...
(Out of character: I'm beat I wanted to reply and kept hitting NEW POSTS instead of reply)
Me: Thanks, gotta crash. Fully tummy makes me sleepy.
Mokey: Night all.
Me: I'm thinking of taking some of Ed's pre-law cases and advanced English. Shakespearan Thinking and Women in America.
Mokey: I'll be taking the sociology of the radish, yoga for the modern fraggle and poetry 101.
Mup: Where's Doc and Link with the Oreo's?
Moke: Not that I could eat any after all the delicious radish pizza. Thanks PD & Kath for thinking of me.
Mup: Screw the Oreo's I'll have some of JFS yummy chocolate treats. Oh my poor poor diet...
*Mokey glides into the room & Mupitz kind of skids in behind here as though she was running*
Me: PD, Kat! We're late but we're here. Is there still pizza to be had?
Mokey: Mup lost the key to our room, we were locked out for awhile and then when digging in her backpack for a candybar...

A friend of mine actually began penning a sequel to labyrinth. It features the daughter (or was it son) of Sarah, and she/he wants to know why Uncle Toby never comes to visit. They're living in the old house. I think Jareth takes Sarah's child and she has to go back into the labyrinth...
Mokey: mmm, hmmm *crumbs fall to lap*
Me: So Link, Doc you see the flyers for the pizza party? Think we could get an Oreo topped pizza and a radish pizza? What do you think Moke ~ best of both worlds?
Mokey: mmm, hmmm * crumbs fall to lap*
No one skit comes to mind as scary but I was freaking TERRIFIED of Super Grover. I don't remember why and regular Grover was a fave, but Super Grover had me crying and running from the room till his skit was over. LOL How lame am I?
One of the things I've always loved was that Sesame didn't condescend to kids. It was a matter of fact fun with a foundation of education. Now a days it seems like it talks down to kids, and tries to slip information in amoungst the zaniness from time to time.
I agree with you Doc, I can't...
Mokey: We missed the pizza party, Mup.
Me: That's okay, we should invite everyone over for a tea party. Emmm, Gorg radish tea and Doozer cookies.
Mokey: Linc and Doc have cookies. *hint hint*
Me: They've got the scary cookies Moke.
Mokey: They got rid of those, it's all good...

My mother bought my youngest a stuffed Piggy for Christmas and it came with a one episode DVD of Muppet Babies. Remember the one when it...
My complaint is this, if they are aimed toward younger children now...wouldn't concentrating on the fundamental basic skills of letter and number recognition of the older sesame be of more benefit, than teaching advanced social skills and environmental awareness to preschoolers?
Wow, that's...
