I agree, of course, that I dislike the current format of Sesame Street. I grew up with it and loved it but I can barely sit through it with my children these days. Even the prime time anniversary special was a rip off. I can't stand ELMO. He's SS's Barney (no offense to Barney aficionados)...

Tutter, it was supposed to be ironic. A lot of people had to have it explained to them. And no one understood the Dr. Beckett reference. :confused:

There were two of them, I named them Doc Hopper and Dr. Beckett, LOL.

I kept focussing on Boss Hogg from the Dukes of Hazard. But no, I don't think it's a Doc Hopper reference. I once had a pet frog I named Doc Hopper. :D

I seem to remember seeing nanny's top half and face in one of the muppet baby storybooks. I've passed them on to my kids and I'll look later. If I find what I'm thinking of, I'll scan it in and post it if yous would like.

Well, I met Frank Gorshin, but I don't think he ever appeared on TMS. I've seen Madonna live twice and she was on Muppets Tonight. Does that count?

Can I play? I'm knew and I'm not exactly sure how to play. But my husband plays live action RPG's and I've participated in a few of those over the years. Are they anything like that? Is the cast already complete and/or is there any restrictions/requirements on who can play? Thanks.
