    When you need to rant...

Honestly, I think that the news update and we're not pornstars anymore are funnier than anything else on there now because the execution is just dead pan funny. I don't think it's about being clever or on the audiences end understanding the concept, it's about just being funny. Most of SNL's...

    Popular Shows that You Hate

    1. TMZ, abnoxious and degrading 2. The Cat in the Hat Knows alot about that A show with that long a title is bound to be trouble. I just feel it's simply unmatchable. 3. Spongebob Let's face it. It was one of the first good ones to go... 4. Any reality show. Mm hm. 5. Any show on now that's...

    Puppet Help...

Hmm... In terms of altering the skull and jaw patterns, I'd recommend elongating the skull (base wise) and possibly shorting the sides of the jaw. Now trying to get the lean in the body, I'd either play around with patterning different foam bodies or more economically, molding a model of the...

    List of Changed Channels

Hideous. Instead of influencing pop culture, television is letting pop culture influence them.

    Well, Here I Go...

If that doesn't work, I'd recommend bathing the red rubber in alcohol. It shouldn't affect it texture and it makes the glue actually stick to it.

Center for Puppetry Arts taking down Henson exhibits this summer

You know, there are working on a Jim Henson wing. They'll be dedicating it mostly to not only well known shows and projects, but to some great lesser known things as well. Honestly I think it's worth the wait (but if they do start to lose business, they'd better get into the construction process)!

    My Miss Piggy Puppet Transformation

Pretty cool. You've got a good eye for fashion. I'd really like to see some of your original characters. I bet they're hysterical :D

A Certain Frog: My 1st Puppet Build

Wow! Very authentic. I like the fact that you made him fit your arm snuggly so that you could get the head to move exactly with your hand (lots of The Frogs replicas out there try to get a larger size instead of simply doing what works). I'm noticing the body pattern and wondering where you...

    Dying Fleece Issues!

Another fleece fabric which you can see on my Boober replica is Tilda Fleece. It is just slightly cheaper than Antron, but i found it have the same seam hiding capability and seemed to dye without any bother. Just another alternative. Just wondering, where would I be able to find Tilda Fleece...

Big Glove Hand Monster on Ebay - Jarrod Boutcher Puppets

My opinion is still unfased. Your little purple abstraction remains my personal favorite. You know, I think you should develop more abstract creatures mostly away from the fleece and shag fur (but not that far!). I see great potential in that little purple guy!

    My Fozzie Replica (First Attempt)

Whoa. That's pretty amazing. How ever did you obtain this severed head?

    CUTE LITTLE PUPPET on Ebay

Yeah brilliant work! I think you should do more abstract work as such. I think that is one unique creature.

    Foam Mouth Plates

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has made a puppet with a foam mouth plate that instead of the corners of the mouth darting out, actually closes properly. Photos would be appreciated. Thanks!

Need an Oscar the Grouch Head Pattern

I'd recommend fiddling around with the melon head pattern by Project Puppet. Maybe a more rounded shape.

How to make a full-costume (full body) puppet?

Great you know how to make a hand puppet. All you must do now is study costuming and modern day mascot making. You know that sketch Jim made of Big Bird with him inside? Refer back to that as well as your design and you'll do fine. Build the inside for comfort and try your best to keep the head...

Fozzie Bear on display at the 'Teddy Bear Collection' in Wimbledon, UK

Yes and where he's displayed now it looks as if they armatured his head some how to curve a smile. They really ought to get someone to properly restore him cause he looks pretty crummy in his present state.

    My Muppets

Wow! These are pretty top notch! Have you ever considered making a Bunsen and Beaker or Ernie and Bert (two tips: you get the best results with Bunsen if you carve him from foam and flock him and with Ernie think football and Bert think bullet when patterning)?
