That would be funny...but not many people would recognize Pepe on the street. I think that they should have a running gag about Sweedish Chef trying to get his hands on the King Prawn. I think you might be right about him needing the rest of the muppets - his own show wouldn't work...BUT I do...
Dr Tooth always reminds me of more that freaked me out.
There was one were a bird skeleton and a elephant skeleton are in a locker room after a basket ball game. It's animated "If you could call it that"...the background is black and white but the characters are color...I think...Any...
ABSOLUTELY
PEPE needs his own show all to himself.
He's one of the funniest of the newer characters.
We played a video game on PS1 called muppets monster Mayhem, i think...and Pepe is you're guide through the whole thing...it's worth playing just to hear his comments.
LOLOLOL THAT's A RIOT. Dr Tooth
My little brother had a big bird that played tapes, and when you bought the formatted tapes he would read you a story...and his mouth would move along with the words on the tape.
If it was an unformatted tape, though, his mouth would move sporatically. That...

That sounds hilarious...I love muppet appearances
Bear from Bear in the Big Blue house was on our local NBC morning news about a year ago here in Chicago.
He kept walking behind the news anchors after his segment was over and peering into the cameras...interupting them to ask questions about...
I think Harry was just boring. He walked around and sounded like an angry landlord...and he always was up in Mile's face (Miles is Gordons kid) about stupid things...besides...he had to compete with Super Grover and Cookie Monster.
LOLOL! I remember Lefty...he was the same guy from 'the golden AN' skit!
There was a live action scene of a bill board painter doing huge red letters on a white background. He starts doing a 'W', then an 'E'...and so on, as listed on a piece of paper he's reading from. He stands there...
You can always identify the moment right after you've heard a muppet pun when Kermit says "Oh GEEEEZ!"
Another one of my favorites though...is when Paul Simon is hosting TMS and at the very beginning he walks up and the ticket taker guy (I don't know his name) is wrestling with the trap-door...
I was scared of the crazy muppet with the blond hair and the googley eyes that used to ask people in 'the park' set-up questions like "I have a (something) in my pocket...do you wanna C?"...and if they said yes...he's slap a Velcro cut-out of a 'C' on their their chest and yell 'THERE YA GO!"...
Thanks Ol buddy bert -
That littel scene within the sketch is the kind of universal humor that classroom full of pre-schoolers AND a boardroom full of executives can laugh at.
Thanks for the thought. I'll definately check out the site. Do you know if JHC will do that sort of thing for private consumers? How approachable are they about their characters and letting people have replicas of them?
There's a follow up documentary that pediactric psyche wards are showing families of children with severe turrets syndrome called:
'The Bear that couldn't help but SHOUT'
