Narrative with shorts in between is "magazine format". This is what they are stepping away from. What the news reports on the matter seem to imply that it will be narrative only, meaning no interstitial sketches, animations, etc. The biggest implication that could be extrapolated from it all is...
....after five years and change, you feel the uncanny urge to log back into Muppet Central Forums at 2 in the morning and write something--ANYTHING--but hopefully something pithy and chuckle-worthy in case you forget it exists in the haze of sleep and the frenzy of the work day at the dawn of...

Has someone already make the joke, weeks ago, "The Nostalgia Critic Thread Lives Again... but not for long" or "but at a price"? Because I want to do that.
That is all.

So, it does... on a good day. They have just like a fraction of the space reserved for Muppet stuff and the rest for lots of random Disney merch.
That being said, the stuff they do have is usually park exclusives and the entire store is still themed extensively two the first three Muppet...
Mister Rogers was truly a legend. Though this one features our beloved Carroll Spinney, I would hardily recommend you wait and see the latest Morgan Neville doc Won't You Be My Neighbor, which covers him in a lot more detail than anything I've seen before. Just phenomenal!
These are actually some really fun developments. In regards to the Muppet restaurant, recent construction photos basically confirm Pizza Planet will not be returning -- at least to that location. With the section officially Muppets-themed, I would be surprised if it came back as anything other...
I wholeheartedly agree. I think we've been getting an influx of monsters and not enough regular character (not parodical) AMs. I'm happy Segi got a starring street story mainly since we haven't seen many AMs interacting about the street. Now, with Segi, we might have a new Farley/Prairie...
This episode was a nice one. I'm not gonna get into all this "political correctness gone mad" stuff, but I really enjoy them taking this semi-risk and telling a meaningful story. Plus, Segi is a great character who I'm glad to see starring (nevertheless, appearing) in a street story of her own...
I'll agree, this season missed out on a big anniversary celebration. And with all the statistics (odd-numbered anniversaries get specials and whatnot). But, I think laying low this year is only fair, so that when the 50th rolls in, it'll trump every anniversary yet and be the biggest blowout...
I, particularly, enjoy the dance numbers. To me, they make great transitions and are some really catchy songs. Murray's were a little mundane, so I think these are a good change of pace. I'll admit I prefer Elmo's song to Count's, but they both work well to introduce the usual number and letter...
I particularly enjoyed this episode. I will say Penelope was a bit of a handful in terms of annoyance. Though, I'm lenient, likely due to my own semi-overbearingness. But, all in all, I thought it was an overall good street story. Not the best so far, but good.
The segments, I will agree, drive...
1. Constantine
For obvious reasons. I think he won just about everyone over with "I'll Get You What You Want (Cockatoo in Malibu)" and, in spite of being a Muppet himself, he is one of the most ruthless villains yet.
2. Long John Silver
I agree with @Drtooth, he hammed it up but that was the...
I love "Numeric-Con." I agree, would've been great season opener material. But, nevertheless, amazing episode. Every parody in this episode is hilarious, particularly Doctor Two which is kind-of like the parody I've always been waiting for. Talk of an extended edition makes this episode sound...
I love the Twelfth Doctor. He's the edgiest Doctor I've seen and I love the episodes I've seen of him. I will say he can get a little rough (I'm not a big fan of his negativity in "Robot of Sherwood"), but he is certainly a great Doctor! Expecting to see a lot of good stuff from him, ready to...
Man, I loved this episode. The street story is something I've wanted for a long time coming and it was executed nearly perfect.
I will say this in regards to the Ernie performer change :p, I honestly barely noticed a difference. I did feel like something was a little off, but overall Billy...
POSSIBLE SPOILERS
The Constantine spread (yes, he gets two pages) is very intricate and hints at a lot of his roles in MMW. Specifically, his relationship with Miss Piggy. The section regarding it says, "Constantine has fought hardened criminals and fierce law enforcement agents, but he has...
As much as I'm a little perturbed about the lack of Digits and Bill, Gill, and Jills, I love this book immensely. The information is solid and the backstories are fantastic and the humor riddled through it is hilarious.
Just seeing Mr. Poodlepants in print is amazing, let alone learning that he...
