I thought this skit was hilarious the way beautiful day monster just gets fed up and walks off.
I was expecting the cliche of them turning around and seeing beautiful day monster and running off
Sorry to reply to my own comment. But with the honkers in Muppet family Christmas, I like to think that when the sesame Street characters were on sesame Street rehearsing, whoever was in charge told the honkers that their honks were too distracting, and just told them to mouth along to the words lol
Sesame 25th bday abc special
Warning its in bad quality cuz i had to screencap a site that wooda given u guys inapropriafe ads
Also its age restricted in an attempt to avoid coppa
when kermit shows up and says what a good song on the original airing (odysey version had steve whitmire dub it over) dont u think steve whitmire sounded alot like jim
in mupoet family xmas when everyone is singing the honker is singing too or at least moving his mouth for whatever reason.
its most noticeable during the if you want to be happy in a million ways song
Really? THe honk was a post-production sound effect? I always thought it was happening right there since they had the horns coming out of their heads. I thought the noise was coming out of there when they squeezed their noses.
sorry i meant that since other posts have been made about tape glitches and stuff, then dinoboy's post should be valid too.
lol. "I didn't even realize anything was wrong."
If the post that dinoboy made isnt "appropriate" for this thread, then neither are sketches where the tape skips or the sound is warped, since that could be from a PBS affiliate.
The album version or the tv version?
Both are essentially the same song but they also have a different feel to them.
The tv version seems more fast paced and seems suitable to what the song is about: the subway.
The album version seems slightly slower and uses some of the same music...

heres a remix that someone made of the Subway song. It adds new drums to the music and it kind of sounds like the original video version only remastered. Definitely worth a listen.
