Brian Williams unavailing the wall to Frank was so wonderful!
Frank looked as though he was pleasantly surprised by an old friend (Maybe Jim, Don, and Jerry)...It was very, very, nice!
Well, I have always been an "Old School" Muppets fan because I think the Muppets were, and always will be the best from that original era for many reasons, however... I really like what I have been seeing in the past year... Including this! I'm finally excited to see new stuff after almost 18...
The fact I said Letters To Santa was somewhat ok was not a ringing endorsement... It was not great at all... The sad thing is when writers write dialogue for strongly developed characters that appear to have never watched the Muppet's... They lose their charm and Identity... That is just what...
We are lucky that we have the first few Muppet movies and the original Muppet Show Seasons coming out... That is enough for me... If I want to see the "Muppet's" I watch... Jim, Frank, Richard, Dave, Jerry, and Steve... (Thats the only time it feels magic)
I strongly disagree with Muppet fans...
Yes... I agree with you!
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great... Something was missing. Gonzo was wrong... on the wing of the plane Gonzo of the Henson years would have loved it! The other muppets would have screamed... Gonzo was not irreverent enough... the heart of the muppet movies usually...
The best christmas present I could get this year! Besides a hopefuly getting a good president, is for the muppets to return with excellent quality! that would make me soooooo happy! I love these wacky creatures!
This sounds interesting... Paul Williams? Good! Lets hope the writing is better than that DC trash last month.... Come on Muppets! I want to see some of that old magic! I love you guys! oh and Merry Christmas!
The Muppets were are friends when we were kids, wether on sesame or the Muppet Show... Most of my friends change same... but in lots of ways are the same... I had a dear friend who was in a car wreck and after was a different person... a dumbed down version of his former self... i stick with him...
Frank is "my" issue... I want him back in the Muppet saddle...
Jim wouldnt care what he was doing unless he was happy of course I know that... I love both those guys so much... I'm just frustrated by the decline of my favorite thing ever! The Muppets!
You don't understand what I mean... Of course Jim always supported Frank, his film career is good... Jim loved Frank...
the Muppet quality has been terrible and getting worse for the last 10 years or more... Jim would not like that (nothing to do with Frank)... the last Disney special would...
It was complete garbage... Gonzo's lines were not smart and witty
David Goelz is much funnier when he improvises... the same for Steve...
the characters were performed well and voiced pretty good... but the writing was trash... I could write better in my sleep... plus no classic muppet...
I've always thought of Jerry Nelson as the Phil Hartman of the Muppets... And Phil Hartman as being the Jerry Nelson of Saturday Night Live... Happy Birthday Sir! If any one doesn't agree with me we can meet "half way up the stairs"
Me again...
Jerry,
It was nice of you to take the time to write to me back a couple years ago... That meant a lot... I wish you a year of happiness and good health...
