The "Nostalgia Over Things You Didn't Even Live Through" Thread

I was watching Futurama with my mom a few days ago and Fry said "Engage shields, engage Yarnell!" and I started laughing. Mom asked me how I knew who Shields and Yarnell are and I said, "They were on the Muppet Show remember?" She then started laughing alongside me and saying that thanks to The...

    Underrated music

I've actually been listening to Brad Paisley lately. I've always really liked country music and I think I might be becoming a fan. In fact I have one of his songs stuck in my head right now!

I'd say Robot Chicken too because they are very edgy and they have a lot more Muppet/Henson spoofs. Not that I don't like MAD, I REALLY like it, but I just think that I get more of Robot Chicken's humor as lot of MAD's jokes were targeted at tweens (Twilight, Justin Bieber, etc. etc.)

    Disability Corner

I have another story of something I've overcome to share with everyone here so I can hopefully inspire someone in the future: I was born with something else besides just ADHD and NLD. When I was little, I had something called ODD (or oppositional defiant disorder). ODD means that I had problems...

    Disability Corner

I've been there, WhoseLineFan. Because of my NLD, I wasn't able to tie my shoes up until I was 14. It took me practically months of practice until I was finally able to do it and when I was able, I was proud of myself.

Who is your cartoon crush (if you have one)? These two are mine: Giggles is just SO cute and sweet, :flirt:. As for the second one, I just like her voice and personality. I miss Lurleen in the new Simpsons episodes. I think her character deserved better than to be treated like crap, :grr:.

Dreamworks to make Captain Underpants movie

Tra-la-laaa! I am SO excited for this movie. I loved Captain Underpants when I was a kid, I even dressed up as him for Halloween one year. I also like Kevin Hart, Key and Peele, and Kristen Schaal all of whom will be in this movie (well, Jordan Peele will be anyway). It's just surreal to me that...
