    Muppet Fan Confessions

Let's bump this thread. I think Muppets From Space is a better movie than Muppet Christmas Carol *Hides behind table*

    Favorite Bunsen Moments

In the Alice Cooper episode right after the Muppet Labs sketch where Bunsen enlarges a germ that engulfs Beaker, there's this hilarious bit. Kermit: Bunsen, that germ better not be contagious. Bunsen: *snickers*

    The Son of Zorn thread

I'm sad for Son of Zorn. It was getting really good. It started strong in the ratings but its finale garnered less than a third of the premiere ratings, so it was expected.

The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

Drops of Jupiter is really good.

Are the Muppets as popular as they were 30 to 40 years ago?

I agree. Not only muppets.com, but all those great youtube videos. They were making all these viral videos like Bohemian Rhapsody and Beaker's ode to joy back in the late 00's and early 10's. Then they pretty much stopped and now all they do are those "thoughts of the week" that barely register...

    Little things we've noticed

You're right, Neuter and Arquette's character were could have been one. Except, Neuter was a lot less malicious and goofier.

Are the Muppets as popular as they were 30 to 40 years ago?

The Muppets are nowhere near as popular as they were in the 70s-80s. I'm sure there was a huge following back then, especially since TMS was a global phenomenon and TMM was a huge box office hit. Nowadays, the average person will say they like the muppets but have only seen one or two movies or...

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

I caught the George hall monitor episode. Lol at how they wrote off Mr. Haney. I guess at least they gave him a mention, they could have just said that he retired. Overall, this season is just more of the same. I long lost hope that this show will be great again or that we'll get a satisfying...

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

Agreed. The show right now is just ridiculous and pretty sad to watch. I wonder what Marc Brown thinks of it.

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

I watched parts that birthday special thing and it was disturbing. I don't remember/care how Arthur traveled through time but it was so awkward seeing DW older than Arthur.

    I won't be posting anymore...

I haven't really posted regularly in a long time, probably since The Muppets was canceled, there's just not much to talk about. I don't want to "leave" the forum though, I still pop in from time-to-time.

Best of The Muppet Show: Time Life vs. Columbia releases?

I have 2 "best of the muppet shows". One is a VHS tape (time-life video) with the Belafonte, Ronstadt, and John Denver episodes. The other is a DVD (Columbia) with Raquel Welch,:flirt: Star Wars, and Paul Simon. There's no real difference from what I know. Obviously, the DVDs have some extra...

    New Muppet Stuff

I feel like we're in the early 2000s again in terms of muppet development and popularity. It's sad because just a while back we had a new movie and it was the muppet renaissance. Even when that didn't do well, we got a new tv show, and then that didn't do well, and it's just kind of been a...

    Let's Take a Stand:The Muppet Show Season 4 and 5

Eh, when I made this thread, I thought we'd get them at some point. But, it's going to be 10 yrs soon since s3 was released and muppets have sadly underperformed on the big and small screen. I guess we have yt at least or "the best of the muppet show" dvds.

    Muppet Film and TV References

So on The Last Man on Earth, Tandy was name-dropping inspirational people in an episode a while back, not going to go into full details, becuase it's kind of complicated to explain, long story short, one of them was Jim Henson.

    The Great Muppet Caper

Wow, you haven't watched it until now? Then again, I still never watched Letters to Santa or KSY. Yup, it's a great film. Easily my favorite muppet film of all time, it has such a nice muppety feel and I love all the fourth wall jokes and musical numbers. The break-in at the end is the best part...

The last TV show you watched was...

Watched the finale of NBC's Trial & Error (starring John Lithgow), highly recommend it for fans of Parks & Rec and The Office.
