That beautiful realistic white lion character from The Storyteller and The Jim Henson Hour. During hard times, I occasionally used to have dreams about the lion comforting me and telling me that things would be alright when I was a kid. As silly as that may sound, experiencing such awesome...

Thank you very much for understanding what I'm going through, Katzi. I just get nervous to talk about such things to people other than my family and psychiatrists because the Internet is filled with people who make fun of others for having disabilities. I've even found entire websites dedicated...

I just started a new online writing course about Screenplay Writing and this week's project is to take a popular Broadway musical and change the style of music to something else. My idea is to take the ever so popular Hamilton and do it in the style of classic '80s metal music. I'm sure that my...

BEHOLD! The stupidest thing I've ever posted (among some very stiff competition mind you). Man, I am so embarrassed and angry at myself right now. Why couldn't I have just kept those thoughts to myself? Rereading this again today, I felt so unbelievably embarrassed. This is by far the most...

Believe it or not, I'm actually doing MUCH better today. I'm feeling just fine, I ended up sleeping well, I've been smiling and laughing again, I'm no longer depressed, and everything is just fine today :).

I stumbled upon something on YouTube today that really destroyed me so to speak. I'm very hesitant to post this because I'm sure someone out there will be laughing at me. Please do not post any jokes at my expense. I know the things I'm going to say may sound silly and stupid but I'd very much...

If you are in some parallel dimension, tell Rick and Morty I said "Hey" lol jk.

A news story I read about a kid who regularly got bullied at school and was worried that he wouldn't have any guests to his birthday party. Sadly, that actually happened when none of his classmates even accepted an invitation. But when a local police officer saw how sad the boy was about nobody...

A couple more Goldbergs references I've encountered: -Adam Goldberg is listing off famous chefs he admires when his mom mentions her love of Julia Child. One of the favorite chefs he mentions is "that lovable Swedish Muppet,". -Adam has a Beaker puppet, a Boober Fraggle plush, and a Great...

I just bingewatched the latest season of Family Guy, season 17 and came across a couple Muppet references: -Peter, who's very exhausted from walking up the stairs at work because he's too overweight, randomly says "Labyrinth is a pretty good movie,". -A disabled kid at Meg's school got...

Have you ever looked at a show you used to love when you were a kid and found it surprisingly disturbing as an adult? I recently rediscovered the intro to an old favorite of mine, Bananas in Pajamas on YouTube and my first thought was, "How the **** did this not terrify me?" I mean come on...

I freaking loved Neopets when I was a kid. They are some of the fondest childhood memories I have alongside Lilo & Stitch, SpongeBob, and everything by Jim Henson. While I've since grown out of the game, I still have a deep appreciation for some of the creative character designs of the Neopets...

Yeah. Just ask a certain other show about lions that has recently gotten a crappy reboot:

I can think of a couple off of the top of my head: -Alice Cooper asking Kermit to sell his soul to his "manager" (obviously implying that he is Satan). This one is definitely supposed to be funny but the subject matter alone is enough for me to consider it a dark moment. -Crazy Harry in...

Because of the DefunctTV Jim Henson celebration month news, I'm watching one of their videos right now. It's the one about The Black Cauldron ride at Japanese Disney World that was ridiculously dark and terrifying. But anyway, the main villain for that movie as well as the accompanying theme...

I can't believe the awesome news I'm hearing right now. I'm a HUGE Defunctland fan and I'm so happy that they are dedicating an entire month to my all time favorite creative individual, the man who created a large portion of the characters I grew up loving and through his use of highly...

Wow, and I thought Scientology was weird lol (No offense intended to Scientologists or Tom Cruise fanatics btw).

A friend and I once played a game where we saw if we could keep an entire naturally flowing conversation made up of nothing but just pure movie quotes. The result sounded a little something like this: "The names is Bond.....James Bond" (The long running James Bond franchise) "I am Groot,"...

Plenty of kids have imaginary friends, right? Well many years ago, I had an imaginary GIRLFRIEND. Because I'm a furry, naturally she wasn't a human character. She was a giant pink rabbit with cartoonishly long eyelashes and a big bright red bow in her hair. I named her Sarah and I remember...

Didn't Steve from Blue's Clues also jump into paintings?
