You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

I mean replacing initials with asterisks, such as W T H or S T F U, when using the initials in and of itself is kind of like a form of self-censoring, since it's not like you're actually spelling out the bad words in the phrase you're initialing.

    Questions about anything

Why, exactly, is this new movie, OBLIVION, Tom Cruise's "big comeback"? Where exactly has he been that this movie warrants a "big comeback"? Why is he even having a "big comeback"?

Pixar: Are the glory days over?

I said that the fact that there seems to be little other than sequels and such in their future is why some may be worried that their so-called "glory days" are over, because let's face it, sequels have grown to a point that they're pretty much an overused gimmick anymore, like 3D was there for a...

Pixar: Are the glory days over?

CARS 2, I can understand, the original wasn't one of their better movies anyway, and I didn't really see the need for a sequel, but I liked BRAVE myself... it may have been a little clichéd and predictable, but it was still enjoyable... but as far as nothing but sequels, prequels, sidequels...

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

Okay, seriously, what's the deal with censoring initials? When you think about it, initialing certain phrases that do, indeed, contain a bad word is almost like a form of self-censorship, if you ask me: you get your point across without necessarily actually spelling it out... so why, exactly is...

    Is Kermit adventurous?

Of course Kermit's adventurous, he once even asked Cher if she fiddles around.

    The Reptar Wagon

People there have actually been asking about him lately, because he hasn't been seen there since at least October or November.

The "I Saw Something REALLY Weird Today" Thread

I went to DVD Aficianado (or however the Elmo you spell it) to update my list, only to find that DVD Af is now dead, and has instead been replaced with "Film Af"... so, like, whatever.

    The Reptar Wagon

:sigh: I would, but gosh, I keep signing up to these forums, I post for a while, then I kind of fade away... forums really take a lot of commitment, and frankly, I'm not sure I want to open up yet another account/profile somewhere only for it to end up abandoned later down the road.

    "Jump the Shark" Thread

ADVENTURE TIME jumped the shark from day one. No. The concept of Cartoon Cartoons was dropped when they overhauled Cartoon Network in 2004; Foster's didn't start until after the overhaul, therefore, it's not a Cartoon Cartoon.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Another thing I'm getting sick of is the issues with uploading new videos. Again, you go to upload a video, then the upload time is like a roller coaster: it'll be at 5 minutes remaining, then the next minute it'll be 16 minutes, then the next minute it'll be 7 minutes, then it'll freeze and...

Seriously, Sesame Workshop? Where are your lawyers?

In the last couple of years or so, somebody here posted a photo of Jim's business ethics, where he specifically mentions how wrong and embarrassing it is to them that people would walk around in Big Bird costumes at fairs, theme parks, circuses, etc.
