I just finished the portion about the Dark Crystal. I haven't seen it yet, and I don't really want to (but I'll do it eventually, for Jim), but it's really sad how much heart and soul he poured into that and the so-so response he got.

"Simon Says": http://www.sesamestreet.org/videos#media/video_5df4ebc4-629a-4131-a0e3-d49e5b023131 And yeah, I thought it was odd they left out Big Bird and Granny Bird from the episode. But, there were Honkers, who I love and they don't use much these days, even in the background. And the...

Part of the Disney thing was also he'd never have to worry about going to people like Grade for funding, which was always the hardest part for Jim.

So, new promo on Disney.com: http://video.disney.com/watch/new-years-sneak-peek-muppets-most-wanted-4eec9ca4ba2cf50b8d86c1fb?playlist=4eeca2d050050826cea8eb61 Some new clips, including a toiler humor joke I would rather see cut from the final product. But I really don't like this emphasis on...

I don't anything on there is supposed to be taken at face value. Except that rabbit one. Why did they even make it?

You can't expect it to get in EVERYTHING Jim did. Things like the development of TMS or the Dark Crystal are far more important to his life story than the Play-House videos.

New Year's teaser: Thing of note: Muppet Show arches are back, and the likes of Pepe, Rizzo, Mildred and Annie Sue are in there!

As if they didn't promote the last movie enough? We got tons of trailers which were almost all viral hits and a billion appearances on TV/radio/online.

Does anyone have the "Kermit, Prince of Denmark" demos?

Mando's actor has been posting a few nice behind-the-scenes photos on his Twitter and Instagram. One of them has him on set with Bert and Ernie, so yay for a new appearance by them! And virtually the entire NBC celebrity catalog is appearing: http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Season_45

Someone on the TP Forum made this point, and I completely agree, which is that they love reading the book and then being find almost everything it mentions to watch. I've been doing that too; I just read the chapter with the Sex and Violence stuff and then watched it. And now that I've hit the...

Usually in writing like articles or biographies, you'd use someone's last name after their first mention. I.E. they'd use "Richard Hunt" when they introduce him into the story, then use "Hunt" for the rest. I'm guessing since Jim is the main subject of the book, there's a rule saying you can...

That makes complete sense, though. It'll probably re-run like H-e-hockystick-bendystraw during the Muppet movie marathon they're having.

Well, Mr. Hooper died and the second Gordon was instilled in season 4 (I'm pretty sure). Other than that, Bob and Susan are still around.

Just saw Wolf of Wall Street. Very good movie, long, long, long, long movie, but very good. It did spur some dislike of Jonah Hill though; he just does nothing for me.

Apparently, Jan. 5 will a Muppet marathon starting at 2 on ABC Family, showing MTI, MTM, TMM and then M11 at 8 and 10.

I can maybe see why kids might have been scared of that, but the "Crack Master" scene wasn't as frightening as the whole banning thing makes it seem. I would, however, consider it being banned for innuendo. My mind is usually out of the gutter, but c'mon.

Yeah, I scoffed when I saw the trailer say it was so realistic, I'd feel like I'm there. And one dinosaur asked for a medic. In the land before medics.

Yeah, they got me pretty close.

Germany got an Elmo the Musical segment before us: http://www.sesamstrasse.de/sendungsinfos/sesamstrasse/sesamstrasse2655.html
