This was awesome! It was great that most of the songs they sung were songs that Muppets haven't sung before.

The cold open with Grover and the chickens was funny.

Eric Jacobson: This is something that Grover that I watched when I was a kid had, but along the way, his hands got armatured. So they were just kinda stiff, so you could pose his fingers and wrap his hands around props and whatnot. And I think that's why they did it. But originally they were...

Oscar: How can anyone say it's too expensive, huh? Aren't they aware that according to a study in Environmental Health Perspectives, every dollar we spend on lead paint hazard control produces returns of at least 17 to one. John Oliver: Wow. That is an astonishing level of economic insight...

Literally, the only thing I cared about in this episode was the cold open. It was funny when Grover got dragged by the dogs.

The cold open was nice. I liked that it had 2 regular characters. I hope they do that more often. Gordon appearing at the beginning surprised me. The street story overall was pretty good. It's nice to see Prairie in the spotlight. The new Smart Cookies was funny. I liked this exchange: Cookie...

I believe he's referring to this: http://humansofsesamestreet.com/. Anyway, this makes me upset. I still love Sesame Street, but I really hope that the new staffers get replaced with people who understand what made Sesame Street successful.

Dan Becker: You may not be allowed to say anything, but overall is the general vibe on Sesame Street, like is everyone more relaxed now that HBO is giving them funding? Is the vibe a little better now? You may not know because... Haley Jenkins: To be honest, I've never been there so often where...

The ABCs en Espanol was good. While the new ETM might come off as being a ripoff of Dora the Explorer, I still liked it.

Some videos of the event have serviced. Here are the one's I've seen so far. Jen and Stephanie's voices are beautiful, and Rick's Kermit looks like a dead-ringer for the real one. I love Jen's reaction when two of the singers get a line in Rainbow Connection wrong: , , ,

This had to have been a dream come true for Ryan Dillon. He loves the Spice Girls. I'm sure he'll talk about it on the DillonGale podcast:

I guess you guys have a point. I've just never seen a kid mockumentary since the Naked Brothers Band.

I just wanna say Nick's new series Legandary Dudas is a mockumentary. So maybe the Muppets made mockumentaries popular again.

The cold open with Grover and a real baby was cute. The new Smart Cookies was funny. The end with the baby talking and running after the Crumb I didn't see coming.

That's how good Ryan Dillon has gotten.

The cold open with Grover carrying a lot of books was funny. The B is for Book song was catchy. The Smart Cookies bit was fun. It was nice seeing Roosevelt Franklin and Betty Lou in the background.
