Gee. I wonder who the culprit is... (Spoilers, but eh, whatever. It's a neat lookin' puppet).

I'd like to know if they legitimately thought that instrumental break would be entertaining to watch.

Oh god, I hated that. It was so irritating. I don't think the show is great, but it's pretty fine. The songs (well, most of them) are quite good and King Richard is easily the best character. I wonder what'll happen if they think this is worth giving another season.

Who was performing Oscar? (Was Caroll pulling a Jerry/Matt thing or did he dub the voice after or before hand)

Skimming through the show. Is it me, or did the street story look sped-up somehow? Not like super speed, but by, like, 10-15%.

You can tell by the audio quality. If something's recorded in a studio, it sounds much different than the regular microphones; it's higher quality.

Love that they brought back Grundgetta for a nice cameo! I haven't watched the whole story yet, but what I've seen so far was great. The new Grover bit was pretty good too. His fainting at the end seemed a bit odd (he wasn't exhausted by anything, just spooked a few times).

What was the new Grover sketch about (can't catch the ep. until tomorrow morning)?

Just watched (most of) the ep. It was certainly nice for the story to go somewhere other than the street, though it kind dragged at times. I find it very interesting that Stinky's one of those "Hey! We Need More Muppets For Street Scenes" characters from the 90's, virtually disappeared during...

I don't see why they can't air some of the skits from it on the show; they put some on that Cooking DVD a year or so ago. Plus, so many E&B bits. Confuses me why they can't run them.

The problem with that would be those "mini-shows" are 7 minutes long and are comprised of 4 or five individual segments, along with framing scenes with Elmo. It'd be like a mini-Sesame show within an entire Sesame show.

I had a thought about this yesterday. I wouldn't think they'd something to put in place of AFFS, then I realized: what if they went back to having two letters of the day? Probably wouldn't work with the new intro song, but it's an idea. Or just have some other new "thing" of the day (word...

I took it as the rest of the show's theme was "trash" and recycling factors into that, so it kind of works.

It's not doing poorly enough to be cancelled. It doesn't look like it was even intended beyond its 8-episode run.

I don't hate the idea of the Macklemore spoof. I wish it were a better written parody, though.

Here's the appearance for those who missed it: (My DVR stopped mid-credits)

I think obviously in the first few seasons, Jim worked a lot more on the show. When TMM and such started up, he had less time. I know I either read it or heard it somewhere that Jim would come in for a week or do for inserts and that was it.

To be fair, Cookie hasn't played a prominent role in any episode other than the Mr. Crumb one. He basically does nothing but cameo.

To be fair, the original Best of Elmo has nothing from season 25 or after, so it's all stuff when he was more of an ensemble player and didn't have many solo bits. Best of Elmo 2 seems like the Workshop trying to cash in on the newest material (as they are wont to do) like "Outdoors" or "Song...

Something else. It was kind of far away, so I might not have read it right. Or it's for something else. I dunno.
