Major Changes in store for Sesame Street Season 46

I'm thinking Mando, to give him more of a place on the street. The show totally went down hill when they made the area between Hoopers and 123 a giant arbor space. It was there since DAY ONE and they ruined the show by changing it. At least, in my opinion.

How dare things change! Excuse me, I have to go talk to God and tell him to bring back winter.

New Muppet Pilot in Development by Randall Einhorn (The Office, Modern Family) for ABC

That is the most Muppet Central post I've ever read.

No, the set changes were going to happen anyway. The photoshoot just happened to take place when it was finished.

It's in the wall in front of 123. If you watch the video, it's the second shot. I'd heard about Big Bird's nest change, I didn't expect it to look like that though. Maybe it's not the final incarnation necessarily. This photo shoot was a couple of months ago, so maybe they changed things. It...

The only thing I'm iffy about is the placement of Oscar's can. But if I see in real life, I'll make better judgement on it. (Hopefully, I'll be able to get my picture in it. They're apparently iffy on pictures cause of the set rebuild, but let this slide somehow).

You misread the headline. "Muppets SET," as in prepared, not the actual set.

D'Snowth's Scale Model of Sesame Street

Not sure if I asked already, but any reason you put a travel agency there?

I'm pretty sure that was intended as a one-time special, not a series. I wouldn't say variety shows are dead. SNL is basically one, though leaning more toward sketch comedy. Musicals have been quite popular lately, so having a new musical Muppet show with sketches doesn't seem like it'd fail...

'Cause it's cheaper than flying a musical guest into NY, probably.

In the past couple of years they've been doing some musical segments taped in LA (like the Usher and Romeo Santos ones).

The Katy Perry thing had nothing to do with her; it was her outfit. From the photos I've seen, all the ladies are wearing conservative clothing.

Getting Felt Up: A Puppetry Podcast

Given the circumstances in which Ryan become Elmo, I doubt Sesame's PR team would let him do that.

Sesame Street Season 45 Episode 4522 - Jack B. Nimble Can’t Sit Down

Yeah, most of the one-liners were references I didn't get (don't watch it either), but yeah, it was still a good sketch.

Sesame Street Season 45 Episode 4522 - Jack B. Nimble Can’t Sit Down

Game of Chairs was great! I love it when the spoofs work in the regular characters instead of just only AMs.
