Yeah, I think about that too. Like then they put up every episode of SNL on Hulu or Netflix and they'd be like 20 minutes long because of all the things they had to cut due to rights.

I don't see that happening. Not because "aw Sesame is greedy!" But it really is a logistical nightmare concerning all the inserts and such. Every live-action film. Every cartoon. Every song. Every celebrity. All those involved need to be cleared and compensated for their contributions. And...

I dunno, every few months or so. It looks like they're doing it in whatever waves they can manage, so a season or episode isn't going to crop up on its own.

I mean, it's a barebones special.

Ah, a small pittance of Ernie and Bert. Thank you m'lords. (And man, these ETM bits are really butchered to heck and back.)

If you never caught the Wish Pickle special, fear not: https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/When_You_Wish_Upon_a_Pickle_(video)

No, low views have been a thing for awhile. I get why they're going this route, but in practice it makes little sense to me. One of the recent videos is a random original song by Elmo, Abby and the Count. Like, why is producing an entirely new piece more effective posting something from the...

It was fine for what it was. Nothing really super insightful or new, and most of the classic footage shown was lifted from the Old School and 40 Years DVDs.

I mean, they've been doing this for months now. It's more about getting more views than anything, really. Even rare classic stuff has barely reached like 200,000 views, while something directly trying to fit in with "Baby Shark" and their ilk are the things getting a million+ hits.

They seem to be focusing more on creating original videos that fit easier into the YouTubeKids algorithm or whatever.

Good luck. If they stick you at a computer station, you should not doubt be able to skip through the footage, so you can make the most of your time if you're sick of "Madrigal Alphabet" or whathaveya.

I mean, sure, but with all the OPs Disney has snatched up in recent years, it's nice that this went to the Muppets and it's not "Tony Stark's BBQ Steakhouse" or whatever.

A. She's family. B. They have Jen around, might as well use her.

Yes, Matt does him now.

That was Marty, and Stephanie as the love interest.

I knew Biff and Sully were going to be in another episode this season, but I didn't expect them to turn up here; that was a nice surprise.

Is the Sesame stuff going to be there at launch? The current season doesn't end until July.

I think the commission thing depends on what's being asked of you. If someone just wants a simple caricature of a friend or something at no-cost, I see that as fine. If the they want a recreation of Guernica, then no, that shouldn't be pro-bono.

By all means, be our guest.

At least in that one she's in a one-piece.
