Well you don't want to miss the boat - if they are looking for a DVD deal for Fraggle now, it's a good idea for them to have it to hand now rather get handed it after they've exhausted their time speaking to DVD distributors. I would think at 5,000 it's going to have the desired effect anyway...

Re: If the regular Muppets themselves can't get A-list stars... Some reasons are probably they are on TV daily so have better exposure, Sesame has a community feel to it like a celeb is doing something for charity, Sesame is considered more kids where Muppets are on the line so a celeb...

A flea market is (i think) what we in the UK call a 'Boot Fair', 'Jumble Sale' or just a mass 'Garage Sale' without the Garages. Lots of people standing at tables getting rid of assorted and unwanted schmoo !

A friend of mine went to a flea market also today and gave me a 1976 Fisher Price Fozzie plush - out of the box but pretty much near mint. It cost her about 20p which i think is like 40cents. Anyone know what the going rate for these is ?

Here in the UK, at least in the 'Into The Void' Comic Store nearest to me they only have one peg of Muppets, and it's not exactly in a prime position - it's been placed up high and in a corner of the store next to the WWE and Dr Who figures, but away from the Simpsons who get like 10 pegs right...

Sounds like 'Muppet Racemania' in planes really, but definitely looking forward to it. I guess there will be levels for each Muppet movie just like Racemania, and maybe it's being done by the same people as the last two. Quite a nice concept, hope there's some exploding penguins in there too...

Also international distribution could do with being stepped up once they get a few waves under their belt - even a lot of the comic stores here weren't carrying them until they got really popular. I wonder if maybe Toys R Us could be persuaded to extend their stock to non-U.S stores ?
