Statler & Waldorf

There isn't one - it finished production.

It’s time for yet another made up episode of the “Byron and Chasity Journal” - a story of romance, passion, animal magnetism and loads of other juicy stuff that’ll happen once we replace Byron - the hairy sasquatch that can’t get ‘any’ in the continuing tale of the data input office where...

Whats 'Down South' ? New Orleans ?

At last an interesting topic at Muppet Central that we can all get involved in. Personally i have this theory, it may be a little hard to believe but i think Britney secretly has a thing for Penguins. Now Penguins are used to being naked (aside from a bow tie) and Britney knows the keepers at...

Yup, there's also a character that looks a lot like Gonzo. At the time of release, the Muppets were very much associated with this film. They were mentioned in a lot of the press as it was seen as a parody of it and how much of a contrast it is.

..... but whoever owns the Muppets can do what they like with them, the fans might not like the results, and so yes, it certainly does matter who owns the Muppets !

**** Kev !!!!! Wocka Wocka ! Yeah i might well have to try some Byron and Chasity fan fic too ! You used up the lesbian joke though - :(

Y'know i've always thought i've got some funky psychic connection with Britney Spears ......... i keep thinking 'I hope Britney wears less' AND SHE DOES !!! :D

Well for a start, they weren't really selling, and that could well be because TRU wasn't promoting them or displaying them prominently. The sales and which company the toys come from are important factors in how a store treats a line, and this didn't work out well for Palisades when they asked...

Yup, that's the score, although as i said, there'll be a new retailer announced soon so they should be available in a mainstream store.

Did it air in the USA before the UK then ? I thought being as they shot it here, it might have been shown first.

LOL ! Well you've gotta hand it to them - those folks sure do know how to keep a secret ! :D

No it's not ! 'HIT' was run by Pete Orton, the same person who founded 'Henson International Television' but 'HIT' in itself is a completely seperate company set up independantly some time later and just uses similar initials.

They got a lot - but they didn't end up with 650 Million - it was a part cash, mainly shares deal. When the EMTV shares crashed - Henson family members still owned the majority of their EMTV shares and had (i gather) to get rid of them quickly and so lost quite a bit of money. It wasn't as bad...

Well done on getting the watch, it's a lovely one. Comes nicely presented too so i've heard. LOL @ the different colored logos - that'd be hilarious ! I think a Weezer promotion would have worked (even just as a record company giveaway) if Palisades would have known well in advance about...

Yeah i like Animal, i'm glad the shirt has more of a skin tight leathery look than a loose one. The logo looks ok, i thought it might actually have Palisades printed on it. Yep a customiser could have a great time adding another design on the T-shirt. It's a shame they didn't get that Weezer...

Just to let people know, as posted over on the Palisades Forum - the actual pics of 'Animal Tour Edition' and 'Mega Beaker' have been released :- Animal Tour Edition (and Packaging) :-...

Typical, they even own that !

I think the idea is to have new characters but in greater quality than quantity. The main brief of the show is to relaunch the CLASSIC Muppets, and build them into a viable property again. However, it could well turn out a bit like Muppets Tonight but lets hope not.
