I still find it kind of odd that the season 16 premiere was the only premiere episode not shown on Unpaved.... I wonder if maybe the Workshop just forgot to (from my assumption) package it out when sending the tapes out to Noggin for Syndication.

I remember stopping by a local library with my babysitter and rented a couple tapes in the late 90's.... Red ended being my fave character.

Honestly, while this thread is might as well bumped.... I dunno how often Disney allows Netflix to put on their TV shows (I know a handful of their movies are on there, or at least I think they are), but uh.... Considering Disney has shown no interest in putting out seasons 4 and 5 on DVD, and...

I turned on the closed captions for the Lena Horne alphabet song, and I noticed how the captions label Mr. Johnson as "Simon." Granted, it was a case of same puppet, different character and Johnson wasn't named yet, but I just found it amusing, out of all names, they'd call him "Simon." But...

They make some good points on how sheltered society is today.... Like, the point they make on how everyone reads too much into stuff is spot on. It bugs me when it feels like something has to be watered down just because one single person is offended by something even if its intentions aren't...

Oooh, I'd have to check that out. I will say Kermit was kind of a jerk in the first season, and at times, a bit of a know-it-all (like calling himself the "world's smartest frog"). I'm glad he was more fixed up by the third season.
