Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Well, it's doubtful that this will really be resolved since Kevin already resigned. I've had thoughts of him reconsidering (I'm sure we all have) or maybe coming back on April 1st and saying "April Fool! I'm not really leaving," but I guess that's just wishful thinking. I know Kevin wouldn't...

    The Adults and Snuffy

I wouldn't doubt it. Think about it. Buffy. Snuffy. These 'Uffy' people have to stick together. Lol. Yeah. I know what you mean. It seems like after the episode where he was revealed and whatever the heck happened in the following ep (I know that one is one of those long lost SS...

    The Adults and Snuffy

Yeah. That's what someone mentioned a while ago. They would believe kids have active imaginations as well (in fact that's why they didn't believe Telly when he told them he saw Snuffy). Again, they really needed someone more serious and unimaginative like Bert to see Snuffy and break the news to...

Sesame Street classic clips on YouTube

Really? I know I saw it somewhere before. Maybe it was one of those iTunes episodes. I guess I'll have to think about it. Alternatively, maybe the particular ep I saw was taken down. I don't know.

Sesame Street classic clips on YouTube

I think I have seen that one on You Tube as part of a full episode though. I can't remember which one it was though, I'm sorry I can't narrow it down better for you. Maybe you can search that on Muppet Wiki and find the episode number.

Which characters would you consider classic?

Hmmmm. I never thought about it. I was a bit surprised when Zoe showed up on that Jeff Foxworthy game because I didn't think of her as a classic character. I might have to sleep on that.

    The Adults and Snuffy

Yeah. I believe she is now. I think they changed the gender like they did with Azreal on 'The Smurfs.' I hear that he was originally a female in the comics. Then there's Hoparoo on 'the Flintstones.' He's generally a male, but Betty called him a female in one episode. Maybe they were...

    The Adults and Snuffy

Yeah. I know what you mean and even when I wrote that I didn't think that sounded right. I do agree that it was strange that there was no mention of that in episode 2096 (aside from the fact the Uncle Wally was one of the few who didn't think Big Bird's plan was silly). Well Muppets did...

    The Adults and Snuffy

Yeah. I've noticed Maria was one of the first ones to believe. I didn't know that it was Wally that sort of convinced her. I've noticed that in a lot of season 15 episodes, but Gordon was skeptical for a while. At least that's what it seemed like in 1836 (That was the marathon episode right...

    The Adults and Snuffy

Hmmmm. I never thought that had much to do with Gordon's belief in Snuffy, but I see what you mean. It's too bad they missed him at the end. (Of course that was at Snuffy's insistence that they don't wake them. Gosh. We need a Snuffy smilie.)

    The Adults and Snuffy

I haven't seen that one. I wish I could find it online somewhere. But I guess that's one of those things that's sort of long-lost. But for the most part I agree with you though. At least I saw the Headline Howie episode and where it got to the point where the whole thing got Big Bird very angry...

Remembering Charles Durning (Doc Hopper) 1923-2012

Yeah. I remember his appearance as Santa in ESC. I'll have to watch that this season. With the loss of him, Kevin and Jerry this year, that will be a nice tribute. I really didn't know he was Doc Hopper. I guess I'll have to watch that one again too.

TV Alert: Muppets on WWE Tribute to the Troops December 19 and December 22

I didn't think about it. Would this have been taped before Kevin's departure or is he still doing TMS characters, or maybe that wasn't Kevin? I don't know. I missed that scene altogether: :):o:concern:: I don't know. I missed that scene. Was that even on the NBC version? Just curious there...

TV Alert: "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie" on CW Tuesday December 18

Zoinks! Like, yeah. He's quite a groovy actor! Man! It's nice to hear a Jerry Nelson voice in general. Although I never was much of a fan of his Statler voice, it's nice to hear him as well as his other characters (ex: Robin). I think this is the last movie he participated in fully...

TV Alert: "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie" on CW Tuesday December 18

Actually, I don't think that really was Steve Irwin. I think that was just an actor impersonating him, but as usual, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

    Okay. Thanks, Brad and Drtooth.

TV Alert: "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie" on CW Tuesday December 18

Yeah. I can understand other cuts, like the NBC logo on Kermit's foot, but cutting the "Scrubs" scene takes something away, because you see  come back out of nowhere. Looks like I'll still have to watch my DVD to look for that scene. Then they have to have more commercial breaks to fill...

    Muppet Smilies

I don't know. I could picture a Robin smilie. I think he'd be distinguishable from :) being smaller and without the collar. (That wasn't supposed to rhyme.) I could also picture a Gordon smilie or maybe Maria holding a wrench for :handy:. It worked in the picture that Big Bird drew one...

Sesame Street to tackle divorce, for real this time

So when and where are we actually going to see this episode that they're talking about? I thought it was supposed to be at the website they mentioned last Tuesday, but so far I haven't seen it...

Video: Favorite Kevin Clash Muppet Moments

Yeah. I think MTI is one of the earliest of Kevin's performances of TMS characters outside of "Sesame Street," I mean. I think he also did the puppeteering for Piggy and Fozzie while Frank later looped in the voice.
