The Food Thread (Non Instagram Edition)

I usually leave off tomatoes, but since this is a veggie sandwich I feel I might as well leave it on 🤷🏿‍♂️ I have a very good feeling I’m not going to like this sandwich anyway, tomatoes or no tomatoes. But we’ll see.

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

Like I said, it’s a case where they push these rules on everyone but don’t follow them themselves because they think their status makes them above everyone else.

So...... out of curiosity, I kinda want to try the veggie delight sandwhich from subway at least once..... even if it means I have to eat tomatoes. :shifty:

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

Do you have something to back this up? Cause otherwise it just feels like another case of people involved in politics feeling like they're above everyone else when it comes to this stupid virus.

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

Far as I’m concerned, if these idiots lose their lives over not following rules then that just means one step closer of being able to go into the library stoned without a mask on my face.

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

So my old hometown’s library requires everyone to wear masks again regardless of vaccination status. Yeah, it’s only a matter of time before the CDC just reverts back to the mask rule until all the Karen’s and Garrett’s are pretty much dead from not following rules  just shows how...

So far I can see good and gather is pretty cheap with their products. I got their string cheese sticks and while not bad, the texture also threw me off a bit. Their water bottles while also satisfying I can taste the cheapness in the water as well.

The New Am I The Only One Thread

I remember as a kid being fascinated by how the temperature of the pool is drastically cold after spending a good amount of time in the hot tub. I remember as a kid curious to see what being under water in a hot tub is like. Not bad but I don’t really recommend it either.

I also want to mention my tolerance for eating cheese on its own has actually gone up a bit, mainly with string cheese sticks (preferably mozerella but I might also try cheddar at some point in comparison). I still wouldn’t eat them as slices though because that’s where I get a little turned...

I mean that’s pretty much garlic for you. Leaves your breath smelling poopy and your throat burning.

The New Am I The Only One Thread

Am I the only one who prefers indoor pools more than outdoor ones? I dunno…… as I’ve gotten older I find I get more joy out of taking a dip in a pool inside than outside.

    Little things we've noticed

Okay….. I’m now actually VERY surprised to see the original version of “Imagination” was last aired in season 16 (according to the guides on the wiki)…… I’m almost CERTAIN I remember seeing the original version on TV as a kid, unless all this time I only saw the remade version. Unless perhaps...

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

I will also mention it also hasn’t really helped with how certain stuff has been pretty challenging for me this year - two losses, one of covid and the other cancer, dealing with a narcistic Latino Karen who just made an absolute fool of herself with her “situation,” and the drama that came in...

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

I mean here’s the truth - I like visiting it because it’s very quiet and peaceful and has a lot of nice nature around that it helps ease my mind when I’m walking. I’m speaking as someone who can only tolerate the sounds of trucks backing up for so long before going down there to ease my mind and...
