I don't know. I kind of liked that running gag of Piggy pursuing Kermit, but the relationship for the most part being one-sided and then Kermit starting to return her affections in later years. I always seemed to like them as a couple. Just my opinion.

I have to agree there. When he sang it on Sesame Street, I noticed the voice was off. The best version of Jim's Kermit singing "Bein' Green" will always be the TMS eps with the two Peters. (Ustinov and Sellers) :)
