    Actually, I thought LOTR wasn't nominated for that award. There were two sound awards back to back, and LOTR won the one it was nominated for. I remember being surprised that it wasn't nominated for the other, but I'll go back and check the Tivo recording.

    There was an announcement yesterday that they are currently producing new Family Guy episodes, scheduled to air in 2005. The only thing they don't know is whether they will air on Fox first and then Cartoon Network, or go right to the Cartoon Network.

    Battlefield Earth? Terrible movie! But hilarious in its sheer awfulness. What's even funnier than the movie is the nature of the "easter eggs" on the dvd. There are hidden bonus features that are all just 2-second long shots of 200 extras running forward and yelling. Why are these there...

    I guess maybe if they're only going to play one, it makes sense for them to play the one that has even more celebrities in it. Though I'd prefer to see the one with more Muppets and less other nonsense. :)
