    Sesame Street censorship

There was one short cartoon, if memory serves, with 2 cartoon cactuses singing "Here we are", and one of them replies, "To heck with there.." I'm guessing it was cut out by now, but that wasn't too long ago.

    2005 - A Good Year for Film

HKP WILL be a CGI, with live action actors. I just hope he doesn't look like Scooby Doo and Garfield. And Mighty Mouse was one of my faves too. But I'm REALLY worried about Lupin III... If they make an American movie, I'm afraid he'll come out to be an Austin Powers rip off, Dispite that he...

    When's the next Sesame movie?

Steve rarely performs any characters besides Kermit (if he's used at all) and Ernie. Dave Golez appeared breifly as a puppeteer during the 93 season, when they went around the corner. This was, keep in mind, after Richard Hunt's death, so he was their to temporarily fill up the cast.

    2005 - A Good Year for Film

I hate remakes, unless they're done well (like the Addams Family). Also to be made (though I have no release date) are Taxi (Jimmy Falon's supposedly in the cast... I'm steering clear, unless they get Danny, Judd, and Christopher, and Tony) and Lupin III, perhaps my favorite Japanese Manga...

Sesame Street cartoon (this joke is just wrong!)

Yeah! My complaint exactly (besides, the Chef tried this in MFC). I prefer the Far Side's version of killing off Big Bird, where police investigate the crime scene and one says, "It looks like a Big bird shot." But don't feel like he has a bias.. he's killed off numerous others, Fred...

Gilda, Mountain Dew and Wembley's Baby Tree Creature

Ouch! I could never be one of those staying up all night to finish any sort of art people. But I hear horror stories even more ghoulish than yours. Deadlines are awful. Even school ones...you have my sympathies for taking on a labor of love!

Favorite Cartoons of the '80's (that are still your favorite)

I recall reading there was a Gilligan's Island The Animated Series somewhere before that, and NONE of the original women did voices.

    Muppet Crossovers

I've heard that certain characters from Fraggle Rock are "supposedly" in Dinosaurs and MTI. Sprockett and the Puppet cast of Dog City appeared in Muppets at Walt Disney world. Sometimes on older episodes of Sesame Street (in the 80's) they used Muppet Show Animals (in one sketch they used...

Sesame Street cartoon (this joke is just wrong!)

It's more stupid than aggrivating. it's not funny, mainly because it was too... too obvious. The AIDS one a while back ( a year ago?) was basically nasty but pretty funny (in my view point). But this is just sloppy and unfunny... zzzzzzzzz....

Favorite Cartoons of the '80's (that are still your favorite)

I never did think of MB as part of Muppet Chronology... never considered MTM either.... but that's another post for another thread for another day!

Series 5 Arrives: When and Where

Pfft! You know, with all the problems I've had with money, I STILL didn't finish series 4 (I still need Rizzo, got everyone else, including Kermit tho). But agreed. I was anxious of series 4 because of the PIS gang (or at least 2/3 of it) but Janice, pepe, Newsman, and Classic purple suit...

Favorite Cartoons of the '80's (that are still your favorite)

Yes. The a while down the raod they made numerous figures that weren't in the show nor the comic possibly to make money, and they had silly varients like "Clown Michaelangello" and Leonardo as Capt. Kirk. Plus the original series had thos rediculous cards with the weopons on it you had to...

Muppets mention on PBS "George Smalls"

It's confusing. Because in the book things were massively different. As far As I could remember George woke up one morning and he was smaller than before, but in the show he's been small all his life. Plus they changed his last name to Shrinks (if he had a last name in the book).

    Deleted scenes?

That would be one of the "Here we go again" questions. We ALL want to know this one, and I doubt we'll find any answers. This is like the numerous newbies asking if Fraggle Rock is on DVD yet (not in America, just France is what we always say). Oh well... plans may be unvailed, or they may...

    2005 - A Good Year for Film

IGH... that doesn't sound great to me... if they get Jimmy Fallon or Chirs Kataan or even Rob Schniedier to play Uncle Arthur (that seems to be the logic) I'll personally stop this production....

    Between the Lions

I guess either they'll rerun it for 2 years (or more) and it will quietly go away (unless by some miracle Congress decided to put more money in PBS). But Arthur's great. I've been a fan of his books since the 80's and I wanted to legally change my name to Arthur. I was so amazed and awed...

The Most Fabulous (Muppet) Object In The World

The glass figures from France are much worse.. I forget the thread though... It's ghastly, but not too. It's the rhinstones or sprklies or whatever that make it awful. Good thiong they used the newer mold, the older mold would have really been frightning. Anyone find Sesame Pez in...

Getting to know the Sesame Street Animators

It's funny that one was never made... can anyone give me a brief rundown of 2-12? It's been so long I forgot. I'm really fuzzy, but 2 may have been an amusement park...

Israeli-Palestinian Battles Intrude on 'Sesame Street'

AMEn... when you get down to it, it's all about fighting over who owns a freaking piece of land. I mean, they don't want to share because they theinmk they have the rights to the land on both sides. Then one side sends some wackidoo tied to bomb and kills and injurs hundreds, then the other...
