A unique idea for a Sesame Street parody band!

I think they made fun of the In crowd (unless I'm thinking of another song by another person) as a cartoon animated by Sally Cruckshank. I think it was "We're in with the In crowd/ We're out with the out crowd" But there are just some great stuff that has potential, but sadly because of...

    Terminator in!

I guess if he's elected to president, his running mates would be the four horsemen of the appocolypse.... This scares me. Other than the jokes that surround him, the butt grabbing, son of a nazi sympathizer, action movie actor holding political office sends shivers down my spine. Oh well...

    "Bloody" in Treasure Island!

I never understood that "Bloody" was a swear. mayhaps a light swear like D**n and H*** are here in the states, but I Have heard it on a lot of kid's shows here. On Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiago, the Cheif said, "I was stuck with that Bloody British accent."

    2005 - A Good Year for Film

I'm really statring to doubt that 2005 is a good year for film (better than this one at least) because I jost got word that they're planning to sequal one of the most pointless action films of all time, XXX. However, Vin Diesle will not be in it. He will be replaced by rapper Ice Cube...

    Walgreens/Muppet Babies Promotion

Baby Animal is shirtless... As for Kermit, he's wearing something else all together. I wonder if there ever was a Baby Kermit plush that had his clothes(the Sailor Suit) from the show....

Or Lupin III... God I love that manga! Great stuff!

Kid's Programming that Makes You Want to Question Life Itself

I completely agree with that entire statement... The New TMNT is much better than the 80's one, and it's nice to find people who believe me. After Napoleon Bonafrog, and the weird Mutants, the show took a nose dive in quality, and the final sesaon on CBS was just dreadful. L still love it...

    Please Reply: New Updates

Hey! Yah got'em! For a second I thought you didn't. Something screwy happened with some of the files on these computers... Sorry I couldn't get any of the big records, since I only have access to the singles (45's) and the big LP's are too big to bring in a backpack... I'll see if I...

    Sesame crossover characters

Actually... THere was a period of time (I believe) in which they used Muppet Show animals on Sesame Street. The difference between TMS and SS chickens is that SS ones are brown, TMS ones are white. However, they used TMS chickens in the Seji Osawa/ Placido Flamingo skit from Put DOwn...

Kid's Programming that Makes You Want to Question Life Itself

Power Rangers, I gotta say, very evil... some evil force is keeping it alive (Ack..ahem.. Disney!) It probably would have died sooner if the guy who created (basically found out that the international copywrite laws let him steal footage from the Japanese show) owned the Fox Kid's Network...

Kid's Programming that Makes You Want to Question Life Itself

Thought I'd revive this thread... Personally, Barney and Telitubbies, dispite the fact they are the worst shows on telivision (A medium that embraces Elimidate, Living it Up with Kelly and Jack, and the Osbornes), Power Rangers will go down in history as telivised evil. It was on death's...

    What's wrong with kids today?

Firstly, DBZ isn't really crap. It's quite good. They just edit the crap out of it for AMerican Audiences (Truthfully. Watch an unedit Japanese episode, and you'll be in for a surprise. Especially when they fight Hitler...It's definately not a kid's show now) But I will admit to your point...

    Walgreens/Muppet Babies Promotion

Sorry, but no they are not! You see, They thought they had the licence to make them at least as they appeared in MTM, but there was a loophole, and they couldn't get it! Anyway, Luke made a joke responding to Frogboy4's statement that was along the lines of, UGH! Who wants to bet they...

    Muppet Babies: The Movie

I have to agree that it doesn't matter if it's in the universe of Muppets or not. I liked MB, and I was spoiled because one year they had the original Muppet SHOW, then Muppet Babies and then Animated Fraggle Rock (the only version I saw as a kid, since I hadn't cable). but who says that the...

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas...

Personally, I detest winter for a few reasons first off, I hate Shovelling snow... i mean, the fluffy stuff is fine, and cute and all, but the heavy wet stuff is a pain... I'm surprised I'm not hunched back. Secondly... I can't stand cold weather. I mean, 40's-30's... maybe 20's I can...

    Bert crying

Crying, Not so sure of, but dreadfully moaning (about to cry) is common, especially the skit that ends with.. :( I'm gonna move out.... Maybe it's becasue of the :( emoticom.... maybe that's why Mike brought it up!

I'd probably have to see the skit to understand it, but it was still uncalled for... :boo:  :attitude:

    Rizzo on The Muppet Show

Rizzo, if I piece everything together correctly WAS in the Muppet show, he wasn't Rizzo as we know him yet. Basically he was a recurring BG character, that Steve decided to use, and created a personality for him, but by the time he was able to, TMS ended, and MTM was a few years away. Rizzo...

    Muppet Babies: The Movie

Que? I thought they had plans for a direct to video sort of thing... Maybe they do... just like they have plans to make a Fox Muppet show, an animated Farscape, New Muppet Movies....
