    Sesame Street Bloopers/Technical Difficulties

Well, I recall a skit back in 2000 or so in which the Count did an improv skit with kids as he counted a painting of clouds. the Count (Jerry) kept slipping in and out of accent, and he finishes with... "And You are a couple of wery...interresting..guys..." totally screwing up something he...

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

I dunno about him... He will still have the same feature I guess, since we never ever get to see oscar's entire body (Even in Jim's early sketches of him are from the waist up). I mean, I've heard you can see it breifly in one episode as he's shot out of his can, but that's it... Though we do...

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Thread

There's a bit of speculation of whether it will be one DVD of those 5 episodes, or a boxed set of those five plus season 1.5 (as I call it). It's basically just rumors ville now, and it appears to be true... hopefully... Until then, they are now putting 4 episodes per DVD on the new...

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

To be honest... I tried to like the Peanuts line... but I just couldn't get them... I have a set of 3, Chuck, Linus, and Patty. That's all I plan on getting unless they miraculously find a way to pull out Marcie. Plus they canned Spike. He would have been the best figure in the line...

    When you outgrew Sesame Street...

I never outgrow Sesame Street... in fact the only thing close is Outgrowing having to see the same darn 26 episodes a million times... :p

Do you want Rowlf as Toto?

The more I think about it... Pepe- I love the Prawn, and we have to shoehorn him in somewhere (I'd think the way he acted in VMC, he'd be the villian's sidekick) but I'm liking the idea less and less... Rizzo- he could work... but Steve is busy with :) you know... Camilla- I wish...

    "Good Boy" makes worst-of lists

Wow... you mean a moronic talking dog film isn't on the Best of 2003 list? color me shocked ;) Seriously... what was Henson THINKING getting involved with this piece of (pardon the pun) Dog vomit....?

    Olivia's new commercial

Okay... when was her career supposed to take off after she left Sesame Street? The woman who plaied Olivia (the name escapes me, sorry) can be seen in a new Kellogg's commercial promoting another Disney tie in, this time featuring Miniature "Bendy" type toys of Disney Characters...

    Boohbah?

I doubt it... the age group for this seems... well... Let's put it this way. It may be designed to get kid's off the couch and excersize, but the fans of the show can't even crawl yet. As much as I can gather, they don't even TALK! Even the Telitubbies show has than narrator. I mean...

    Boohbah?

The horror is real!!!! I've had the misfortune of being courous enough to try to watch it... well, curiousity killed the cat, you know. This is such an appawlingly evil mind sucking experiance. I didn';t think a show could be worse than Telitubbies... but they proved me wrong! Teletubbies...

    Scary Scary Monsters

I actually have one of the KFC promotional toys... It's some character called Mongo (or Mungo... confusing his name with the guy from "Cattillac Cats" on Heathcliff) and he looks suspiciously like Oscar the Grouch.... it's like one of those Flip toys you have to squeeze the sides up and he'll...

Sesame Street parody in Mad Magazine

I remember posting descriptions of some a while back... One was "Reality Street"... more of a satire of reality than SS... It's in Mad About the 70's... thumb through it at a bookstore... Then there was "If Sesame Street Branched out into diferent subjects" I know there was "Medical...

    Sesame's 35th season kicks off with a prime-time special

What really sells the entire show to me is the "parodies" I mean, the parodies are the real thing that will jog the show back to shape! They may be current ones like Spongebob and Dr. Phil, but the only thing that came close to parody this season was Cookie Hood and Cookie Monster singing a...

Muppet Baby plush/DVD sets premiere at Target

Personally, I am definately going to get Gonzo when the money comes. But I am too disappointed that Scooter and Skeeter aren't included. I hope they can be PVC's, or (if they do well) a series 3 of the plush. Anyway, what really disappoints me is the lack of Baby Bunsen and Beaker... I...
