    Muppet Babies video edits

Most of the VHS had the "go Bye Bye"tags removed (as I've stated in an earlier post). I think Valentines was the only exception. That said, the episodes are edited, because they used prints of the syndicated versions. The Valentine episode has a scene cut out (during the insult poem...

    Jazzy Spies Collection.

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=jazzy+spies&search=Search Has all of them. As for number 9... we see a 9 pannel square Grid (think Brady Bunch Opening) with the number nine in clouds, the pannes turn over to 9 cowboy hats which morph into 9 apples which morph into the number...

    Sesame Street Season 38 Preview

As I've said, it's more than meets the eye when it comes to the "Obesity" epidemic. Firstly, do you know how rediculously small being considered "overweight" is? When I hear "obesity episdemic" I feel that when I walk out the door, EVERYONE I see is gonna be fat. I don't see too many more...

    American Idol

Rueben Stddard and the other one were the only exceptions. I recall hearing that Simon blasted quite a few people for being fat. And now I hear he's blasting people for being ugly. Sure, I know some are just wacky idiots who are in on the joke (like Hung, and some other guy whose name I can't...

    My turn to rant.

You know how once a year we have the usual "everyone treats me like a baby because they don't understand the magic of the Muppets" thread, I thought I'd like to give my take on a similar subject. This has been bugging me for a while, but after the "threats against Boston by the Mooninites"...

    Champion College Sesame T-shirts

I was walking by the Boston University bookshop on my way home last night and saw something very interresting in the manner of college sportswear... Adult Sesame T-shirts. Now, I believe these may be only available in womens sizes, but that's as far as I could tell from the window display...

Should the Around the corner set return for SS 40th birthday....

Around the corner was basically an experiment to work with newer characters since the unfortunate multiple deaths of certain integral people(Jim, Richard, and Joe), plus the lessening work load from Frank. I think it really did help SS back on it's feet during that time... plus we had some...

    2 MB's Episodes on youtube

Yeah, you better enjoy them before Disney unceremoniously pulls them all off.... or maybe they won't, judging by the fact they don't care what they're doing with the muppet license.

    Remember the shows real endings...

These "GO Bye bye" endings were cut off the Disney 90's VHS releases (except for the valentine one, I think). Let's hope if a DVD release would happen, these aren't cut off either. BTW, if anyone purchased the plush with the DVD's, did they have these end bumpers in tact?

    SS skit on Mad-Tv 1/20/07

I thought this one was enjoyable, actually. I felt that, given the subject matter, they treated Oscar with a lot of respect. Personally, I like Mad Magazines SS parodies (especiellay the "If SS went to the radical right" comic from 1996) much more. The thing about Elmo being an extremist...

Has anyone seen, Super Grover Ready for Action?

Now, do you have to have entry to the performance to be eligable to purchase these things? That PVC thing seems pretty cool. I have a Grover Pennant from the only time I went when I was 8 or so.

Has Any Other Internation Version Done This?

Big Bird ONLY appears in Dubbed sketches. Can I piggy back on this thread and ask my own question? Does any other international version of SS use dubbed clips from Sesame Park? Plaza Sesamo does. 2 songs featuring a muppet in a wheelchair that didn't look like an American character were...

    American Idol

I hate American Idol, but I'll just agree with Rosie and Tony Danza (who said the same thing, but since no one watched the Tony Danza show, no one took notice). Just get to the bloody competition already! I do not find bad singers being heckeld to a nasty extent funny at all. Just do the...

    Jessica Rabbit Life-Size Figure

Lifesized Jessica Rabbit doll... single strange man.... pretty much a connect the dots situation. I'm not THAT desperate.

    Sesame Street Season 38 Preview

Here's my reply... Okay, Ick! Firstly, if the show were just Abby and Baby Marco, it would really be silly. J/k :halo: I wonder if "Clasics" means just staple characters or they're planning on a random resurgence of some character that hasn't been around in a while. Look at Mumford in...

    Elmo's World: The Movie?

I am pretty mixed about this info.... If this means that ALL the characters are in it in a bizzare Elmo-verse where everything is crayone drawn, it sounds like there could be potential. That is, Elmo's imagination gets away with himself, leading to child-friendly and adult appealing...

    Sesame TV Episode Fun Packs

I am guessing they are shorter because that's how they usually market their children's DVD's. It must have to do with their attention spans, or concerns that they'll be watching too much television or something. I mean, they do have half hour videos they released in DVD format without adding...

TMS Season 2 coming summer 2007

Then again, they haven't released Rocky and Bullwinkle season 4 yet, either... It would be stupid NOT to release this, since they already suink the money into it, and quite frankly, this was the ONLY success that Disney had with the Muppets as of late.

So Have We Seen the End of 2-D Animation?

I can agree... yet I think Pixar is a standalone company when iot comes to CGI. I mean, they really seem to be actually artistic about it, and not just all about the benjamins, like Dreamworks. I will say the quieter films like Madagascar and (especially) over the Hedge were their best work...
