Your Thoughts: Kermit and Fozzie on The View

I'm gonna say that Whoopie brought up excellent points. If this is such a hard time for her, why did she go and make a TV show about it? Seems to me, she IS a sell out. I agree with Whoop here... her children shouldn't be any part of it. Anyway, Standard stuff from kermit. I swear, they...

Weinstein rolls with Fraggle Rock movie

Come on. You know as much as I do that it's gonna be a sanitized version of the real world. If it were the world we really live in, the Fraggles would stay in their holes and never never never ever come out. I like that idea... the world will change by seeing Fraggles, Wombles, or Chozzles...

    Batman: Gotham Knight (DVD 2008)

II want to get the 2 disk special edition myself. It comes with bonus episodes of the original Batman TAS.

    Indy 4

That's what Spielberg said on an interview on some show. I guess he must have meant that he wasn't going to make another film at that point. The thing with these long awaited movie sequals are, they usually disappoint fans, and get terrible reviews. Glad to see this isn't the case with...

New behind-the-scenes book to celebrate Fraggle Rock

Problem is they tried, but too many copyright stumbling blocks ket it from being much, much more than it could have been. But as long as they got the rights to all the songs, that's good enough for me. Though, I will say, why didn't they include another rare muppet special in the bonus...

    Eating Like Cookie Monster.

Tried it for a laugh once. Almost choked. You'd think his eating so fast someone imitating it could severly choke would have been more of a red flag than the cookie eating.

    Indy 4

I'm pretty impressed. Somehow you'd expect less from a stalled franchise with a movie that wasn't supposed to be made. Speilberg himself said it was supposed to end with Indy riding into the sunset (and not Singing a song ---inside joke). Unlike of course Rocky 6 and the new Rambo... both...

    Saturday Morning memories thread

Oh yeah. i'm actually surprised they're still going through with that. I thought they actually planned a series of DTV features (ala Futurama) instead. But if they can get this series on TV somehow, that will be great. Unfortunately, it'll go straight to cable. Which brings me to... stop...

    Traditional Animation: The Return

By then, the Mexican studio had enough time to develope, perfect itself, and even get good equiptment. The first episodes of Bullwinkle had abhorent animation. Of course, the studio had abhorent conditions when it opened up. But I guess it was better they outsourced the animation to Mexico...

    Surprising Celebrity Guests

I feel any cartoon character is a surprise, as they have to pay for their appearances. Pink Panther, Beetle Baily, Bug Bunny (who sadly was only in one bit about "Yakkity Yak, Bring it back"). You never see them attempt that sort of thing anymore. But the Simpsons, the supposedly adult...

*Sigh* It's That Time of the Decade Again...

HEY! Watch what you say. Someone could easily say the same for people over the age of 6 that wear Big Bird and Oscar shirts. But I hate the fact that he was a staying figure. That idiotic movie should have been his end. I can remember when stores were trying to get rid of Barney movie...

Breaking news! New Electric Company Series from PBS

Nowadays, they're too scared to show kid's programming in general. Wocka Wocka!

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

Personally, I always liken Gonzo to Steve Martin. I mean, back when both started out their acts, they were both really crazy, and did anything for a laugh. now they're more settled down and more artistic. They still are both crazy, but it's toned down with age. Of course, I have to admit...

*Sigh* It's That Time of the Decade Again...

Uh... cuz he never had one? I checked it out. Even in the books, he was more of a Chimp than a monkey. As for the rest of that. Well, both the small ammount of tax money (what is it, like a buck per person?) and the pledges, they always have to get the newer, hipper, hyped-upper shows out...

    Traditional Animation: The Return

There's a marked difference between theatrical animation and made for TV animation. They have more time with the film, higher budget, etc. Plus, they only have to show it once to make a fortune. A TV show has to air anywhere from 13 to 65 episodes a year, less budget, and shorter deadlines...

    Truth commercial: Muppets & smoking

What was the quote from the movie (and which one was it)? I believe Fred said something like "My father used to eat nothing but meat, and he lived till the ripe old age of 40. (or something to that extent). But then again, (as Buster Bunny Says) the only way to hurt a cartoon character is...

    Sesame Street TV References

yeah, but the joke is that they're making fun of 2 shows. While they are using Sesame Street as the characters, they are using Homicide as a template. Plus, the fact that it paid off to, "I wish you would stop eating cookies in... bed" was just a brillaint gag. I never feel terrible about...

    PROTECT your creations!

Once again, corporations rule the day, and the little guy has to struggle even harder to get buy. Now, I'm taking it that poor man's copyright is of no use now. These freaking companies have enough money to sue the blazes out of someone who uses their characters for unlicensed child care...

    Fraggle Rock Animated

And let's not forget. When Barry Gordon was unavailable, Donatello and Bebop were both voiced by Greg Berg... better known as Baby Fozzie, Baby Scooter, and animated Strangepork.

    Truth commercial: Muppets & smoking

I didn't make a pledge to God, but I pledged my lungs I'd never smoke. They're all pink and squishy! I don't want them black and dusty. Oh yeah. It's possible to quit... it just (as the picnic basket addicted bear said) isn't easy to do so. Kicking any habit is tough, whether it be...
