    The Next "Elmo's World"?

And clay figures used for animation are called "Puppets." Besides... we got 2-D traditional animated Muppets (Little Muppet Monsters, Muppet Babies, Fraggle Rock, the opening credits to FTB...), and CGI Muppets (the twiddlebugs). This would be the first official clay muppet production (Robot...

    25 things dissapearing from America

Actually, there's been a huge outbreak of measles recently. Not kidding. heard it on the news not too long ago. And Broadcast news disappearing? I doubt it. people are still watching Fox... as if that's news. and I'm shocked top see American Jobs and animated cartoons not on the list.

    YouTube law fight 'threatens net'

More like, we won't name names... but we're still gonna sort of name names. Screw it. I just love how they bring up the Spongebob and Daily Show crap over and over. For everyone watching an illegal youtube of it, there are several hundred thousand people watching the real thing...

    Nanco Fraggle Dolls

That's the problem with plush toys. Someone once said, I don't know if it was here or the palisades board, but they're basically pillows stuffed to look like stuff, where as figures are sculpted out of clay. You have a lot more control with clay. But maybe it's just the photograph they have...

Cookie Monster on "The Colbert Report"

I must add, check out this thread If you like South Park, you may just want to pick it up.

    Wall-E: The thread

I'm so glad someone else made the connection. When I first saw WallE promos, I just saw some of Luxo in him. The same child-like reactions to things, the interactions... definately Luxo was given a brand new lease as WallE.

Next Looney Tunes DVD set cartoon list up!

I'd like to see a best of Cool Cat Collection. But it's so small, it could be released in attatched to a cereal box. Wocka Wocka. A collections set, sort of like the Droopy collection, based on various different characters would be a great way to continue the DVD's, though.

    Wall-E: The thread

I see what your getting at, and I could see it work... but then the real message of the movie wouldn't have had the same impact. To me, the movie was 2 messages. one about the romance between Eve and WallE, and the not so cuddly second one about how putting off Earth's probles until tommorrow...

Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 DVD

Nothing recent, or seen on a million other SS compilations. I want REAL old school, not a 40th anniversary edition. A 40th Anniversary disk set outside of the old school set would be great. As long as we got both. That way we COULD have room for more current stuff as well as the classics.

    Official Season 39 Press Kit

I WILL say this. I liked some of the lyrics in "Triangle," even though I really don't like James Blunt's song (and Weird Al's was a superior song anyway). I really like how they worked Euclidian in there. I think even the celeb covers of songs are better than the parodies. Though, I still...

It's Official...I've become addicted to Vh1 Reality Shows!

Lemme tell you this. I'm really starting to miss the Gorillaz. And some of the 80's-esque bands that popped up about 3 years ago. They had MEMORABLE videos. And yes, some are soft core. mainly the Hip Hop stuff. Like one time I saw this Beyonce video, and ma-a-a-a-a-an... Suffice to...

It's Official...I've become addicted to Vh1 Reality Shows!

Addicted you say? Addiction is a very serious thing. maybe we should hold an intervention or something. And yes, I second the entire though of VH1 as a music channel. Why aren't there any music channels that show music anymore, instead of random barely related shows? And I feel that has...

    Red Hot Riding Hood

What about the Big Bad Wolf? I considered them co-stars, myself. And the Wolf was used in a lot of terrible Tom and Jerry cartoons in the 70's and 90's. Not to mention the inspiration for a certain scene in the movie "The Mask," where Wolf's exaggerated double takes were used, frame for frame.

Muppets to appear in Disney Channel TV special

Muppets aren't cursed. The company just doesn't know how to handle anything that isn't a tween pop 12 year old pimplefest. Which is what worries me. I could see them canning something with the Muppets, sure. But something that utilizes the same prepubescent mooks that they plaster all over...

    Nanco Fraggle Dolls

Honestly, I think nanco does a so-so job. Sometimes their products are pretty good. I think most of their Muppets (including Sesame Street) looked pretty good. I really liked their Heathcliff line, even though I was NEVER able to win one. And some of the Fraggles look alright. But the only...

Very Brief Cameos: Your Picks for the New Muppet Movie

It's a shame the only time Jerry Stiller and the Muppets crossed paths was only for a Shalome Sesame Special about the Alph-Bet. I once wrote an outline (years and years ago) with ben and Jerry Stiller as Muppet Show guest stars. Wonder if it's still around.
