    Swedish Chef Ornament is Out

I didn't get mine yet... i usually get these things for Christmas...but anyway Anyone else notice this? They seem to have based the scene off the Swedish Chef Palisades toy Playset... even has the same exact floor and kitchen counter top... towel rack as well. Not saying this "cheapens"...

Who's going to see Disney's the Princess and the Frog

Me neither and me too. To both counts. Pixar is an amazing animation company, and the odd thing is, while they're responsible for the CGI boom, they care more about traditional animation than any other company. Disney put their animation studio in good hands here. Pixar's movies never fail...

    Where is Steve Whitmire Petition

That's what I feel. Disney paying all this much for the Muppets, putting all these plans and grand projects and alienating the people who would stand to benefit from their handiwork, and then support them by purchasing all the merchandise... that doesn't make sense at all. And, again, if they...

Any Scooby-Doo fans here on the forum?

Think of it this way... Scooby-Doo is to Warner Bros. as Pooh was to Disney.

Your Thoughts: Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins

Saw it in a TRU paper ad... and I think the ad for the DVD has a spot for the game as well. But there are so many games that come out that some of them get no notice and no commercial promotion.

    Jason Segel's involvement with Cheapest

I think I mentioned that earlier. I could see either Disney passing on a leaked script, or both writers getting ticked off and leaving the project. Corey was pretty upset when his FR script was leaked... and it was an early early draft. He either came here directly or put it on his blog, not...

Robert Zemeckis 'Buzzing' about a second Roger Rabbit Movie

I still say if this movie gets anywhere near development, I'll buy a hat and eat it.

The Muppets DON'T Appear at the Emmys

They were also up against 2 award shows.... AWARD SHOWS! Award shows should win awards at award shows for award shows. Though, it would have been a great insult to lose to Andy Samberg... really. That guy has to be the luckiest mook that ever lived. Really. And frankly, much as I love the...

    Copyright on Typewriter Guy

Sesame Workshop would be the people to ask. But considering this is a start up company, the use of a copyright would cost money... and I don't think you'd be able to afford what SW would charge to use the character.... and that's if they are willing to let you use him in the first place...

Muppet Babies 3 Disc Box Set 1984

I say, if you're gonna go the bootlegged route, you might as well got to Youtube and capture all the videoes posted and made a DVD of them yourself. Either way no money's going to Henson, Disney or anyone. If you're gonna not support the franchise, you might as well not spend money on it.

The Muppets DON'T Appear at the Emmys

I think it was a huge insult that an Awards show wins an Award. That's just the biggest backdoor entertainment favoritism there is. But at LEAST it didn't lose to Andy Samburg. THAT would have been a real insult.

    Where is Steve Whitmire Petition

Not only that, but he reminds me of this... That's the total sore point here... here we are, on the cusp of the greatest time for a Muppet fan since Palisades made the action figures... after the 5 year long trudge after a certain stunt-casted TV movie. And we can't even enjoy it because we...

What would happen if Sesame Workshop retired Elmo?

Possibly... the way we're drilling "schedules" and "consistency" (e.i. Monotony, rigidity, and basically the entire opposite of spontaneity) into these kids because of conflicting reports. Apparently, this monotony "comforts" children. I think it just prepares them for an inflexible future...

    Jason Segel's involvement with Cheapest

Of course... we're talking about wikipedia and IMDB.... and those sources aren't too reliable. Even the entertainment section isn't all that trustworthy with fake episodes of shows, fake movies, the whole Gadgetinis scam... Wasn't there a listing for "Untitled Muppet Project" on IMDB for a...

Your Thoughts: Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins

Funny thing... now they have a Wii game loosely based on the movie. They have some sort of cartoony stylization of the characters on the box... they look almost like a hybrid of the Pup Named Scooby Doo characters and the human actors.

What would happen if Sesame Workshop retired Elmo?

The worst part is that he's on both. Really. I admire what Joey wants to do with Murray... keep him separate from the others, and have him go off on his own "Uncle Matt" style adventures. In fact, the 39th season opener had Murray awkwardly placed in that random scene in the laundromat, and...

    Jason Segel's involvement with Cheapest

Here's what I'm thinking... and hypothetically. Let's say that they are still involved with the movie and are changing the title and moving stuff around. It could very well be that their script, while not totally passed on, could have been blended with the outlines of the other script, with...

My version of the Sesame Street I Beam

I've re-edited the segment to be a source or ridicule, not a source of fear. Warning: Major stupidity ahead
