Rumor: Oscar living in a recycling bin

Let the record state that I was actually singling out politics on this one. Seemed to me like someone would have gone on about how the environmentalists are pushing stuff... blah blah blah. I say, believe or disbelieve in global climate change all you want, it doesn't give anyone the right to...

What would Jim have thought of today's SST?

I got to read that book. I was hoping to get it for Christmas, but I don't think anyone saw it. And I'd rather own it than check it out of the library. But wasn't Around the Corner basically an attempt to stay fresh when a lumbering lavender dinosaur costume was taking all the publicity...

    Another TV Land Outrage!

Raymond maybe not... but Seinfeld is a long standing classic, even when it was still on the air. It's one of the biggest sitcoms of our time, and it's been 12 years since it was over (we're old, man!) Boston Legal would only make sense because it starred 2 famous faces from TV's past, William...

    The New Movie: The Muppets

I can't even blame Disney for anything (unless the rush through production was really their doing, as the script and everything was decided before hand. The movie basically just coincided with their announcement to purchase them from Henson.

    Season 40 Hidden Gems

Honestly, I have no idea why they didn't hammer out a better usage deal with Kermit when the sale happened, but whatever the reason, Disney made a special exception for that one time, letting them use Kermit for a whopping 10 seconds. I'd love for this to open a window for them to negotiate...

The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Thread!

I skipped the other releases for the time being... but NO WAY am I gonna pass that one up. This one has NO double dipping (why6 I didn't get the others yet) from the 3 pack holiday collection I got years ago, and it has "What a Nightmare" which is one I've been looking for everywhere... I only...

    The New Movie: The Muppets

Again, I put all the blame for MFS into the hands of Tim "Mundane is KING" Hill. What does it say when you're best movie is Alvin and the Chipmunks? Joey Mazzaino wrote a great script with a complex ending that got cut for scenes of Muppets checking the mail, mowing lawns, and basically half...

    International skits on Youtube...

AND there's a bunch that haven't been seen in the US yet! Like this sketch where they work as Museum Guards

    Sesame Street costume fail

I can't even call these costumes myself... Now, had they used cute gothy punky nerdy girls for the models instead of plastics and queen bees, I wouldn't have a problem with these. :D

Rumor: Oscar living in a recycling bin

The Veggie Monster thing I blame on SW, trying to drum up interest in a great show that's been around since forever that just so happens to keep being eclipsed by loud, obnoxious upstarts that have educational styles that have yet to be disproven (and will be). The media just took the ordeal...

    Any Closing Logos Fans?

I'm kinda diggin' the new Sesame Workshop logo, myself... the one with all the foreign characters in it. Pretty simplistic and all, and I'm not a fan of the type face... but I just think the inclusion of the foreign characters is great. Never really liked that 1970's moog stuff they used to...

    Double Standards, anyone?

I think I know what the problem is... I didn't explain why I use the term exactly. The "Brainwashing" is a nice little term that side coined to make it sound like they're in the right. E.i. saying that promoting tolerance is "Brainwashing" kids, forcing tolerance down people's throats...etc...

    Double Standards, anyone?

Firstly, I was referring to and ONLY to the fanatical far right who listen to false prophets and practice hate and intolerance... and I wasn't even complaining about them, so much as their leaders. There's a difference between being a lamb of God and the puppet of someone trying to undermine a...

The dark day of Valentines Day is upon us...

Here's where I stand... I would LOVE to play the part of the bitter broken heart and say the same old catchphrase "Valentines days was created by the card and candy companies" blah blah blah... but I really feel it's better to just ignore it. Oh yeah, I hurt inside... but it's one thing...

    Double Standards, anyone?

Indeed that's what goes down. No one has said any nasty "Yeah, you're talking about an imaginary guy who floats in a cloud" comments. No one is attacking anyone, just the anger and frustration that so called leaders on both sides use to rile up their own kind. Again, I find the whole atheists...

The Garfield Show - pleasantly surprised

I don't hate it at all... at least when it's GOOD. Don't forget the cartoon with some of the highest internet fandom there is was one of the first CGI TV shows out there (Reboot). As for Clone Wars... well, Lucas wanted to replace everything with CGI anyway. I bet if the entire prequel...

The Garfield Show - pleasantly surprised

The Garfield show is separate from the movies, despite the same cast and the fact they're both CGI... in fact, this series, as I stated was Animated in France with a different team, giving the animation a bouncier feel.

Bert and Ernie Gay Rumor: Settled

That makes Elmo Wonder... what's a sin and what isn't? Oh Drawer.... Is a birthday cake a sin? Sure, if it's sinfully chocolatey...

    Any Closing Logos Fans?

Hey, Snowth... what about that Bagdasarian Productions logo where the Chipmunks are barely able to hold up the logo, and Alvin catches a letter on his foot?

Packaged Palisades Sesame Figures on eBay

All I'm saying is that the other anniversary merchandise from season 30 and 35 at least attempted to get some fan favorites in. The Count and a Honker shouldn't be considered fan favorites. That's something reserved for Herry Monster, Sherlock Hemlock, Forgetful Jones and like that. I'm...
