    The New Movie: The Muppets

Here's how I see it. Some of these characters have been officially recast years ago, but we haven't had many projects with them in it. Scooter got lines in Studio DC, Letters to Santa, and one of the virals, I didn't hear Janice as much. Bill has been Rowlf since at least 2002 or so. He had...

A NEW ThunderCats cartoon in 2011!

Holy Crap, They're actually going to go through with it And they plan new and vintage style toys. And the coolest part? They got a Japanese studio to do it too.... now before anyone says anything, most of our favorite 80's cartoons, unless they were made by Hanna Barbera or Filmation (who...

Fraggle Rock comics - round 2!

That is clearly unsettling, and it has a feeling of "We better get this out before the license runs out." I love this comic as much as the next guy, but I don't want to breeze through the series in less than a month, waiting months for something else to pop up. I feel the entire fanbase needs...

Why people dislike modern Sesame Street

Elmo's World seems like another show entirely. Let's just say that. It doesn't fit, but then again, I doubt they were going for a sketch that was the same as the rest of the show entirely. I'm starting to wonder if Abby's School would benefit from a shorter run time. Would more episodes be...

Muppet Vision 3D 2.0 Coming Soon to Disney Parks?

Yeah, either a restaurant or some other little attraction. I can't say that a new movie would be terrible, but I think it would just be a bigger tribute to Jim if they left it as it is. it is one of the last things he did.

The "Next Muppet on Family Guy" thread

The 5 minute Conway Twitty laziness... ehh... cutaway ruined the entire episode. The Opera, the reference to BTTF, and the Simpsons joke were the only things I'd consider "funny parts." Meanwhile, American Dad gets "King of the Hill-ed" out of the line up at the 7:30 death slot.

Why people dislike modern Sesame Street

I've spoke my peace about EW for years, but it's time for them to look into an alternative. They can't keep up using the same segments over and over, and they appear to have stopped making them after Frogs. I find Elmo's Backyard a superior Elmo segment anyway (based solely on the preview...

Muppet Vision 3D 2.0 Coming Soon to Disney Parks?

Even if that is possible (remember, it took probably 20 years for them to decide to look back into The Little Mermaid's Underwater Adventure... it was discussed on one of the DVD's.) filming the movie wouldn't likely happen for months yet. This is ONLY a concept. Concepts get nixed all the time.

Fraggle Rock comics - round 2!

It's a bit too early, just being Monday and all, but Archaia has already posted a preview of something it's releasing Wednesday, and lemme tell you, it ain't Fraggle Rock. It's only one thing though, and I can't imagine them putting out their weekly previews one comic a day, when all at once...

New Pics: Jason Segel and the Muppets at the L.A. movie set

I wonder if they have the Jean Claude vanClamm Puppet anywhere. HE would make a great cameo.

New Pics: Jason Segel and the Muppets at the L.A. movie set

I'm going to request a favor of someone. I want someone to list all the potential cameo guests, even the ones that backed out/were just rumors. Just to see how many of them are actually still in the running. I know the Lady Gaga bit isn't definite and the I Dream of Jeannie cameo was a...

    Show of hands, please.

I have a few favorites... one even blended the "I'm not STU! HEHEHEHE" (which should really be a fad in its own right)... but check out "Four Hours of Chocolate Pudding." Translated and retranslated into various languages back to English, making gibberish and nonsense.

How's the weather where you are?

The sad thing is, that's REFRESHING compared to what we've got. We're not even in the teens TODAY!

New Pics: Jason Segel and the Muppets at the L.A. movie set

Annother cameo announced Now, I gotta say this... this is unsettlingly close to the Disney Meddling I was concerned with, putting people from shows on their networks into the film...they picked a GOOD choice, I think... and from a show that's actually good, and I'm considering if this was a...

Fraggle Rock comics - round 2!

I dunno if this just sounds troubling to me or if I'm reading too much into this... According to tough Pigs, issue 2 is coming out THIS WEEK? ! ? ! Now, keep in mind, last time TP got the scoop, the release date was incorrect, a week off. So I'm wondering if this will really be out next...

Theories why Bear came to an end

Oh yeah, Martha's amazing too. PBS is making strides with really good kid's programming, but Super WHY was a step backwards, and even with an 11:30 AM death slot, the fact they desperately cling on to Barney is nothing short of sad. I'm half and half on the Cat in the Hat cartoon, though. I...

    Questions About The Toy Industry

I think Brave and the Bold is special for NOT trying too hard to be the 90's series. The 90's series will always be a favorite and one of the most important cartoon series of that decade (Maybe of all time), but I think that the Chris Nolan movies are going to "Dark Batman" people out if they...

    Show of hands, please.

The niche market is dead... what can I say? We have these young brats come in and basically make everything so generic and like everything else on TV all in the name of ratings they're not even guaranteed to get. We're howling at the moon, but these stations are losing their regulars while NOT...

Why people dislike modern Sesame Street

The worst part is, they're completely and utterly stuck with Elmo's World. They tried to do away with it a few seasons ago, but kids where apparently whining that Elmo wasn't on. They conditioned kids to want something, and they've painted themselves into a corner. I love how it was the only...

Mr. Peabody and Sherman, The Movie

After watching a bunch of them, I cam to the conclusion that they just wind up walking through the same door that sent them there that was somehow always there and no one, especially the historical figures, know it's there. There is one episode, I forget which one, where that's distinctly obvious.
