    "The Muppets" Teaser Poster

The one thing I'm not holding my breath for is a cameo by any Non-Disney owned Muppet characters. Heck, I wouldn't expect Disney owned Bear in the Blue House (or anyone from there) to even poke their heads in. it would be great if Segal had the pull to do that, but the Kermit 10 second cameo...

    "The Muppets" Teaser Poster

Again with the Pepe? Here's what I can tell so far... Jason is clearly a classic Muppet fan, and made the movie specifically out of disdain for the theme movies (some of which don't really exist, I guess it was an exaggerated joke). As far as the movie goes, we got a leaked script, but that...

The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland: A look back

It was a case of something being so theoretically successful that it actually couldn't be. Now, we'd all like to think quality of script = good box office, but who are we kidding? Terrible films do well all the time. No... the real problem is the demographic for the movie wasn't really...

Warner Home Video now distributing Sesame Workshop DVDs

Cause they don't have Elmo plastered all over them?

    "The Muppets" Teaser Poster

I say, if anyone SHOULD have been protesting and complaining about the soaps dying, it should have been the writers and actors who may be doomed to never find good work again. Remember a few years ago when the writer's strike happened? Even though it took months for them to settle, they...

    "The Muppets" Teaser Poster

I always felt Disney was on the ball compared to the other companies (look at how pathetic WB's attempts to "hip up" Looney Tunes with Loonatics, CN's attempt to become CNREAL and other annoying bits... other than DC comics, they still don't know what the frog they're doing). The...

    "The Muppets" Teaser Poster

I know the reasons for your boycott....I still doubt it would work to the extent you guys want. I still think boycotting the sponsors that will potentially sponsor their TERRIBLE reality/talk programming may make a mark... still, unless someone up there hates what the network's daytime line up...

    Boxset DVD's.

If there's one thing Disney is COMPLETELY and UTTERLY fumblethumbs about, it's DVD box sets. As it stands they gave us incomplete bare bones Disney Afternoon sets, incomplete barebones The Tick sets WITH Comedy Central edits and missing episodes... though they apparently had done good with the...

    "The Muppets" Teaser Poster

yes, but there's something to be said for seeing a trailer in the actual theater, vs online. And I want to have that experience with this of all trailers. I kinda wanted to see Pirates 4 anyway (though I haven't actually seen the last 2 the whole way through), but now I'm going to want to go...

    "The Muppets" Teaser Poster

Aw great.... now I HAVE to go and see that now. Not that I didn't want to, but it comes out pretty close to Kung Fu Panda... and I didn't even get a chance to see Thor yet.

Muppet Show Season 4 coming in 2013

If that is indeed true, there was no excuse, movie or not, to sit on the release for over a year, especially since we already had to wait 2 years for it to come out. For the 1000000000000th time, there ARE 5 seasons, re-releasing the movies, Muppets Tonight, prospects of complete series sets...

    Why isn't Skeeter a Muppet?

Off topic... I know Adult Swim has this on their official YT site... do they have the Fraggle Rock one with the illegal migrant Doozer?

    Muppet Shirts at Target

If you're looking for the Beaker shirt... you're out of luck. This thread was posted almost 7 years ago (HOLY CRAP... it's been THAT LONG?). So, clearly that one's unavailable. I actually still have it, I don't wear it all that much so it's in good shape. But there are a couple current...

Kermit at the Pirates of the Caribbean 4 Premiere

They probably had more Tron merchandise because NO ONE wanted Tron Merchandise... :D But seriously... it's gonna be like the Terminator Salvation stuff all over again. Termysalvy's gonna have a freaking graveyard like the E.T. Atari 2600 cartridges. Movie merchandise ALWAYS takes president...

    The VHS Thread

Well, my VHS player's dead. And it almost took my Korean Grocer copy of a Dr. Slump movie down with it. Oh... it could still PLAy videos... getting them in and out was the problem (hence the it almost took it down part). Now I'm stuck with a WHOLE bunch of Korean grocer bootleg VHS of...

    "The Muppets" Teaser Poster

I like the fact Kermit's mouth is closed and it LOOKS GOOD for a change... Somehow I kinda wish the tagline was "Don't call it a comeback" but that's just me... and it sorta IS... Yeah, this poster does it's job, subtly saying "We're back!" And I'm sure by the time the movie comes out, we'll...

    "The Muppets" Teaser Poster

And I think the one thing we should stress is this is indeed a TEASER poster... Sort of the vein of This Toy Story 3 poster That's not terribly impressive, but it tells us "There's a THIRD one! It's COMING!" and it doesn't even need to use the actual film title, much like this one...

If they had mentioned David's death on the show

This is an old thread and all, but since someone brought it back, I might as well add to it, since I never saw it before.... I agree with all of that. I would hate for them to acknowledge the death of a character on the show after they were written off due to an illness. Again, he could...

    "The Muppets" Teaser Poster

It's easy to be cynical, and I blame crappy third and fourth party studios for dumping us with bad kiddy films (not mentioning THAT one again for the hundredth time), and it doesn't do anything but drag the rep of GOOD studios down. Somehow, the Smurfs movie is going to do a LOT of damage...

Is this cartoon really so bad?

Yeah... there's that... but in truth the standard cartoon rodent looked a LOT like what Mickey would come to be. There's gotta be some examples, I just can't name them at the moment. Man, these old 30's cartoons have a LOT of singing in them and very little plot. I'm SURE glad that changed.
