    Some old Sesame photos

That's so cool! didn't know they actually cut the building in half like that. I figured they just had the same huge full set in the same studio all these years. It's really weird when I see behind the scenes stuff for Sesame Street. I still say Sesame Street is a real street somewhere...

Bert and Ernie go around the world in 2005

Do we know who will performer Bert and Ernie? Eric and Steve are both Muppet performers as well as Sesame performers. Will they be making the trips?

    JHC planning Dark Crystal sequel

My issue with CGI is that it always looks fake to me. No matter how realistic it is, it has this cartoony quality to it. You can't beat real sets and real puppet characters. Of course, there are things you just can't do with puppets as we have seen with Yoda. So who knows.

Your Thoughts: The Muppets' Wizard of Oz

"# Eric Jacobson is doing a better job with Frank's Characters than frank in the later films." I have to agree here. I liked Piggy in this much more than Piggy in MFS. It's like Piggy has been thrown back to TMS days.

UK's Creature Shop faces closure over taxes

I read the Tough Pigs post and the person posting pretty much said it's false but posted the news anyway. Don't pay any attention to it.

UK's Creature Shop faces closure over taxes

Ok, Brian Henson has officially ruined his father's company.

Why is Steve Whitmire the voice of Kermit?

I think if you could combine Steve and John's Ernie you would have a perfect Ernie.

Should Jerry Juhl return to write?

I don't think Bill did it. I believe Pepe, Statler, and Waldorf were done by new performers for that movie review skit. Sadly we never saw it again. Brian is a great director. Maybe if he was limited to just directing and performing Sal it would be good. Apprently Frank and the other...

Why is Steve Whitmire the voice of Kermit?

They really didn't need to make new ones. Perhaps it would be best to just reuse the old ones. They actually redid Rubber Ducky with Steve and a newer Ernie puppet (at least I think it was Steve) but they used the original sound track.

Should Jerry Juhl return to write?

One thing Jerry Jhul could do in the movies was give each set of characters their proper time and lines. We didn't have a Pepe who would ALWAYS be there. While I do like MWoO I can see many of the flaws within it. Pepe did have too much screen time. The EM was seen for no real reason other...

Why is Steve Whitmire the voice of Kermit?

I believe he started out on the actual street, but was soon put into skits. He was in al ot of them though. I remember him singing a good amount of songs. I still love carribean amphibian.

    So now what?

I do like the idea of a muppet horror movie if done right. It's one of the styles they haven't done yet. The only problem is can it been done properly.

    So now what?

That is unknown. I sure hope not. We need original material!

Why is Steve Whitmire the voice of Kermit?

Well Kermit will probably never appear on the show again ever. He barely was on when Kermit was with JHC and Sesame Street was sold to Sesame Workshop. Now that Disney owns Kermit I doubt he will ever visit the street again. I do know that he was on a couple of times after Jim Henson died...

Why is Steve Whitmire the voice of Kermit?

I believe that is because the Kermit on Sesame Street is much more simplified than the Kermit on TMS.

Your Thoughts: The Muppets' Wizard of Oz

Because sometimes people tear into a film before they even have a chance to think about what they just watched. I also feel the need to save the muppets from people, fans no less, that falsly say the Muppet are only meant for children and should be sanatized for them. It's simply wrong. I'm...

Your Thoughts: The Muppets' Wizard of Oz

Oh that is a very fair comparison. Balancing negative comments about a Mupet TV special is exactly the same as communism.

Relaunching The Muppets: A New Plan

There actually was a good deal of promotion on ABC and Disney channel. Disney ran 2 or 3 music videos from the movie as well as trailers. The muppets did commercials for 3 of ABC's top shows. They also did talk show spots, tv appearances, and all kindso f stuff to push the movie. They really...

    Leave Disney alone

There actually is a plan for a feature film according to a wall street journal article. It said it is planned for 2007. I am not sure if that is a 2007 release date or a 2007 production date. Either way it's pretty cool. I just hope it is a mopvie where they play themselves and a movie that...

Why is Steve Whitmire the voice of Kermit?

You are totally right. It's all about who the characters are as well as the audience. The pron line is still a bit out there. I think that is simply because of who Steve is and you can assume his personality based on who his original characters are and how they act.
